Wonderful one night stay for our anniversary, thank you.nnPleasant staff who were super accommodating who made our stay really special.nnBeautifully clean and warm rooms, and a stunning location a stone's throw from the cathedral.nnWill definitely be back.nnOne request though - please include toilet brushes in the room. The rubber, more hygienic ones are so much better than having nothing at all!
This is a lovely hotel with some rooms having views of the cathedral. The staff here are wonderful. They care about the customers and, in my opinion go out of their way to ensure your staff is perfect. There is a wonderful breakfast available each morning, although this can be awkward if you are there if a large function is on at the same time. My only gripe is the lack of tech facilities, ie USB ports in the wall sockets. However this might be a blessing for some. The location is excellent with access to the cathedral just across the road, which is a most attractive walk into the city centre.
I spent 3 nights here and have nothing but glowing reviews for both the hotel and restaurant. The beds were super comfortable. I had a good sized single that overlooked the courtyard with charming lighting in the evenings. The cleaners were quick and thorough, always accommodating my late starts. The staff were exceptional! No matter which shift, they were always so helpful and personable to this traveling American who always had so many questions. They gladly ordered taxis and held my luggage after check out.nThe restaurant was also excellent! I ate there twice for dinner and both dishes were delicious!nI highly recommend and will definitely stay again on my next trip to Salisbury!
A great stay overnight on our way to Southampton and so glad we decided to stay here. A charming old hotel very near to the beautiful cathedral and only a few minutes from the charming city centre. Beautiful sunny and quiet courtyard area with comfortable seating to relax in with a glass of wine. Special mention to the gardener at the hotel as the beautiful courtyard and the flowers were picture perfect.nnWe booked a privilege room and this was quiet, spacious and comfortable with a compact but modern bathroom. We also had breakfast at the hotel which we enjoyed. We didn't eat at the hotel as we had already made plans, but the evening menu had lots of great options had we have chosen to eat there.nnSpecial mention must go to the wonderful reception team who both made us feel welcome from the minute we arrived. They made us feel at home and went the extra mile to make sure we enjoyed our stay, however short. A good experience at check-in can really set the tone for a hotel stay and this was certainly the case here. Both colleagues were great ambassadors for the hotel.nnI'd stay here again without hesitation when visiting the area.
Exceptional care and service provided at an event for 67 people last week at the White Hart Hotel in Salisbury. From the moment we arrived it was clear that every detail discussed had been put into place. During the planning stages with Sarah and Amanda, the Events Organisers nothing appeared to be to much trouble for them. I found them approachable, friendly, helpful and accommodating. On the evening Sarah and Amanda, ensured their team of staff went above and beyond with impeccable service prior and during the meal. All staff looked very professional in their uniforms and courteous to all the guests. The meal choices were amazing and so varied and when served the food was full of flavour and beautifully presented. The tables themselves looked incredible and included personal touches which reflected the purpose of the event. Every guest felt welcomed, comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed the celebration. The warmth, professionalism and genuine hospitality along with the delicious meal made the evening a success. I would not hesitate to recommend the White Hart and indeed return.
