The most beautiful place I have ever stayed in. The hall was splendid, so full of character and charm, warm and spotlessly clean. Every thought had been given by the owners to make their guests as comfortable as possible. The kitchen cupboards were well stocked with every utensil you could think of !

Thank you to everyone at Rowley Estates. We had an amazing weekend at Melmerby Hall, a memory that I shall treasure forever. I shed a few tears when I left but I shall be back one day !

Stayed here at the beginning of December 2015 with 8 other couples to celebrate a special birthday. Loved every single minute of this fabulous house. We spent most of the time in the spacious kitchen and extremely large informal dining area that accommodated all 18 of us! The bedrooms were lovely with en-suites!  an even g

Lovely place to stay - fantastic accommodation, beautifully maintained and presented: impressive and spacious, but also homely to live in.  A superb venue for a seasonal or 'life event' party, family gathering, or wedding.  A warm welcome, with hamper of food awaiting your arrival and every comfort provided.  Great location - with easy access from Penrith, and to the Lakes. Melmerby Hall is in a quiet, pretty village with walks from the front door, a good pub and bakery full of delicious treats. 
Great value and a real 5 star experience - we'll be back!
