Excellent service from new managers and lovely staff too. Great atmosphere. Excellent food which is great value. Make sure you're hungry if you go for a mixed grill. it's huge but well worth the money as the meat was exceptional quality and cooked very well. Will certainly be recommending to friends and family. Prices are very reasonable for a hotel bar £3.20 a pint. 2 meals, side orders (Not that we could eat them all), several drinks and a couple of coffees £50. worth every penny.

First time at Mellington Hall today. Fantastic value for money for three course meal. The food was lovely and generous sized portions. The rooms had lovely open fires and the staff were welcoming and friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone.

The building and grounds are beautiful, with friendly staff. Menu is basic but acceptable food is tasty though not exciting. Rooms are being refurbished and the one I saw had been done well. Conveniently located for Bishops Castle, Newtown and Welshpool.

I visited the hotel just to have some drinks and it was a very pleasant environment. The exterior is lit up very pleasantly in the evening and the house looks like a castle from certain angles.

We went to Mellington for a lunchtime Sunday meal. There was 10 people there and they provided a separate room for us to eat which was decorated beautifully. The food provided was absolutely delicious across the board and was at an unbelievably acceptable for the quality and quantity of food. Hoping to attend Mellington for my 25th birthday and would happily recommend to anybody!
