The Royal Oak Hotel

This is one of the best hotels I've stayed in. The parking was easy to find and secure. The room was very clean and quiet. The evening food was nice but the breakfast was absolutely beautiful. The staff were friendly and it was reasonably priced. I will definitely be back.

I had a lovely stay at The Royal Oak. My room was large and well decorated. It was double glazed and had a large radiator which worked very well. There was a wardrobe, comfortable chair, and tea and coffee making facilities. The biscuits and chocolate bars are a nice touch. The room had a LCD TV, and Sky TV. The bathroom had both a bath and shower (over the bath). The staff are very friendly both in the bar and whilst serving breakfast. Nothing is too much trouble. I recommend a stay here.

Great food although it took basically 45 minutes for a sandwich to come out. I fear we may have been forgotten. Great to let the dog in the snug with us

Spent this weekend at The Royal Oak and as always enjoyed a comfortable stay and woke up to a great breakfast. The service was taken to another level by Mandy on Reception, who was more than helpful throughout our stay. Thank you!
