I have been going to Melbicks for some years now, all ways a nice time out. Prices are not the cheapest although usually have some competitive offers on,  just good if is what you want!! Restaurant is not cheap but not over priced if you want good food which is what it is. (in my experience) little bit extra for a nice day out. Lots of choice, worth a visit, you don't have to buy!! I thought Christmas displays were great as usual if looking for a bargain see what is left and sale after! Very big thanks for the mothers day meal, booked in advance, was lot cheaper than the normal prices and food fantastic as was the service. Only reason not 5 star, one can always find fault (and read some of the reviews before writing!!!)

Great variety of garden furniture and plants plus decorative features for the garden. Wide selection of spring and summer flowers and the cafe serves tasty cakes and a full selection of tea's and special coffee. If your looking for decorative gravel or stone as we were there is plenty of choice and colours

Dog friendly inside and out. It’s nice to find somewhere to eat where you can take the dog and to be able to sit inside if the weather is bad  is fab. They have sectioned a bit and f the restaurant off for pets and there are about 7 tables. It wasn’t busy at all and we went Sunday lunch time, food is nice. There was a choice of roast beef with all the trimmings, fish and chips etc, soup, hot and cold sandwiches, soup, homemade cakes. 
There is the normal garden centre inside and out, clothing section, home nick nack’s ( candles, pictures, clocks, small gifts etc) small toy section, pet shop with aquarium, a lovely butchers and deli section ** dogs are understandably not allowed in this little bit **

Shocked by the prices but staff are very pleasant and helpful, Way more than just a garden centre, cafe, coffee shop, butcher, toys, gifts, the list goes on!

A lovely place, with some beautiful things even if a little pricey. The restaurant however is ridiculously expensive. £1.80 for a soft canned drink and the hot drinks are equally pricey. I didn't even dare look at the food prices . As a support worker with clients of limited funds, its way out of their budget which is disappointing as they love to visit.
