I just recently inherited an 18 year old cat that has always been registered with Medivet Oadby.  They have all her details including her birthday!!  which is nice.  They were super efficient in transferring her over to my name, helped with with all my queries and concerns at being a new "mum" to an old cat, including advice on her medication process and other support.  Super easy to access to the clinic.  I was seen earlier than my appointment, so it was very efficient and the staff are very sweet and friendly.  Feel very relaxed and comfortable there for my pet.

Wish I could put no stars. Absolutely appalled with the vet I saw tonight. My pet was having breathing difficulties but was still moving around and eating but the vet didn't even examine her and suggested nothing but euthanasia. No compassion or knowledge of basic care. Couldn't be bothered. Can't believe how much they get paid for doing as little as possible or nothing at all. Should be ashamed to call themselves vets. The vets at pdsa probably get paid half as much but do 10 times the job.Disgusted beyond belief, angry and upset. Someone should shut this place down for good.

Had our first visit to Medivat today with a 16.5 year old dog, we were seen by Rob, who was fantastic, he listened to our concerns, answered our questions and put my mum's mind at rest regarding the next steps with her aging dog. Couldn't recommend enough.

Medivet Oadby have been excellent while caring for my cat, Mr. Socks during his treatment for Lymphoma. They could not do enough for him or me as his over anxious owner. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

A great practice that treats your pet with expertise and skill. I just find this practice straightforward in comparison to my previous vet.

Made a complaint as service was rude and not acceptable and was told no other complaints and the first thing I see on here is another complaint. May partner felt forced into buying a treatment and the care was lacking over all. We will be using another vet. Called the reception who were also rude. Stating my partner was a fully grown adult and didn’t have to buy it. Sadly the previous vet has left who was wonderful. Avoid these at all cost, they didn’t even offer to have someone call me to discuss the complaint. It’s a shame really, I very much liked the Vet before, but this Vet made my partner feel very uncomfortable, the fact they were not even concerned about the complaint tells volumes. No offer of discussion or even to examine the concerns. I feel they know they have a problem as it didn’t sound like a surprise to them on the phone. As professional people paying for a service I would expect a lot more.

Got my cat spayed lovely place staff were great and gave lot of helpful information overall best place if your pet need to see a veterinary.

Absolute disgrace.  Used this practice for all of my pets needs for many, many, years. Moved out of the area but wanted to remain here. Therefore, took a taxi 10 miles from home to see the vet for flee and worming treatment.  When I was about to pay for my pets treatment the receptionist said they were not sure whether there was an outstanding balance or not. I was unaware of any balance that could have been owed so I queried it.  The receptionist stated that the head nurse needs to look into it but could not at that time as was busy.  I was told that I must pay this now, if it was not owed then I would receive a refund, the head nurse refused to give me the treatment for my pet.  I have never known such appauling customer service; and to be told I must pay a balance they or I had no idea if or why I owed it.  I am aware that such issues and or errors do occur however as a CEO of a small business this is not the way to treat loyal customers. Holding me over a barral for the sake of £16 pound worming and flee treatment.  It just goes to show how much they value their customers loyalty.

Been with this practice for many many years. It’s small so all the staff know us and our pets well. Like many other places they are struggling to recruit another vet but despite being super busy they do their utmost to accommodate our needs. I’ve witnessed first hand clients getting angry with the staff and any complaints are handled in a professional manner. Would definitely recommend
