Used to be a great GP service - it still is - if you can; a) get through on the telephone b) get past the receptionists - one in particular needs some training on how to deal with patients, her tone and abruptness makes you feel you shouldn't be bothering the doctors with your problem. Now only emergency calls will be dealt with during certain hours which will make it more difficult to get through at other times. If you do get through, the GPs are lovely and I've always found them extremely helpful. It's this phoning, getting the engaged signal constantly, then the receptionist taking details then waiting on a call back which is time consuming - I wonder how many phone lines they have? Maybe they need more - and more staff answering particularly on a monday.

Terrible service. Repeat prescriptions only 1 in 3 are ever correct. Taken both my kids to see the GP, both misdiagnosed. I had to correct one GP who didn't bother to read files and it wasn't until a pediatric review 3 months later did we find what was wrong with my other child. Rude condescending staff who think they are better than people.

Completely overwhelmed surgery, used to be very good but went downhill rapidly and now has a very large backlog with locum doctors from Manchester. They might phone you back , they might not.

Difficult to get appointment, have to give personal information to the receptionist so that they can decide how urgently to make telephone appointment then you became a slave to the telephone and you can not move away from the telephone if you miss the telephone appointment god knows when the doctors is phone you back it could days or weeks.

Good customer service, automatic GP check in and appointment was right on time.
