Craft beer bar with a decent and well kept cask selection. The decor is Mexican themed which is really cool. Service friendly and a great atmosphere inside.
When in Newcastle I always like to visit here for my real ciders. Love the unique decor in this pub, all Mexican and festival of the dead artwork, lots to look at. If you like real ale and cider then check it out
Great micro pub, friendly staff, very good selection of cask and draft beers. Cask ales well kept. Eclectic interior in a good way, and a few tables outside. Very civilised place. Lovely place to while away an hour or two close to the city centre. Sensible covid rules in place when I visited; table service.
Love it! One of my favourite places for a beer. Fun decor, some different/ strange beers on tap and I love them. Cherry beer is incredible. The little outdoor patio is also a nice area to sit, even now in the cold.
Eclectic and quirky furnishings, Johnny Cash and Mexican wrestling theme anyone? Excellent beer choices friendly staff and locals. Definitely a place to visit
Great choice of beer that changes regularly. If you're hungry you can order pizza from a local company that has, for us, arrived quickly, been hot and tasty.
Being a big fan of both craft beer, The Cramps and all things rock N roll/kitsch this was an essential visit for my husband and I on our trip around the NE. COVID measures all spot on and table service was great. Barman and owner were super friendly and took the time to chat with us given we were geeking out over the decor! Largest fresh cask selection I encountered during our 2 weeks which given the difficult circumstances was even more impressive. Strong keg lineup and some sours available in the fridge. Massive thumbs up from us...make the effort to visit and you won't be disappointed. I'm very jealous you have this in Newcastle, I want one in Birmingham! :-
We were pointed in this direction from The Town Mouse pub, and it did not disappoint. Great, friendly pub with Mexican decor, but great beers and ciders. Worth a visit.
As usual great choice of craft and keg starting from £4.00 a pint. Plenty of decent ciders all at £4.40 no matter the strength, nice.
Nothing mean about this fantastic bar, hidden within this establishment is a fine selection of excellent ales, something for all. Fills up quickly and particularly full pre-match days. Space out back for those finer days.
