We found the whole experience very say and pleasant. Reception staff helpful and polite. The room was well equipped and spotlessly cleaned. Tea and coffee tray was well stocked and so was the bathroom, with hand soap, shower cream and towels. Room temperature lovely! A great stay!
12 of us met up for a joint 3 birthdays, we all had very good service and excellent quality meals. The staff were very polite and friendly, the food was served in good time and came out nice and hot. Only 1 craft ale on though, there always used to be a really good selection of craft ale so not sure what's happened there. But hobgoblin was still on so happy days.
Popped in the other night! Although very busy, we were well looked after! The food was normal pub grub - decent portions at a good price and very tasty. The great thing about this pub was the welcome and the attentive service we received from Wendy and her team! Excellent!! A bit out of the way for some,but if you're ever out Beoley way - make sure you pop in - you won't regret it! Will definitely go back! and soon! :-
My fella and I stayed a while back and had the best steak ever so we thought we'd give the steak another go. We wasn't let down. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Nice and juicy. Yummy. The young lady Nevaeh was very pleasant. Hats off to the chef little Pete...Service: 5/5
My stay is coming to a close and I have to say I'm happy with, not only the price, the quality of my room and the friendly staff that greeted me on arrival. I'm not sure of your name but thank you for being nice! It's made my stay a little easier having a friendly face I can pop to see if I need anything gives me great comfort. Definitely would come again : P.S - I hope the housekeeping staff enjoy the left over Papa Johns that I left for them! XD
Beautiful hotel & restaurant. Very friendly & helpful staff, quiet & comfortable hotel. The food was amazing in the restaurant, however we found the breakfast very expensive for what you get. Beautiful garden even in winter. I would stay again & comes highly recommendedRooms: 5/5
Me and my dad came over from Ireland to meet family. We are staying here for 2 nights from 09/09 to 11/09 . We had breakfast this morning Kayliegh was super friendly and very helpful and Sean's breakfast was amazing. We are booking a table for tonight for the whole family and I have no doubt it will be amazing. Would highly recommend and will be definitely be back
We booked online for a party of 6 and upon arrival we were shown quickly to our table which was great but then all went quickly downhill. It was ages before our order was taken,so, we decided to order drinks and food at the bar and Levi served us quickly and professionally. One of our party is vegan so ordered the vegan nachos as a main along with all of the other mains. These arrived quite quickly but without any vegan cheese on. They looked very dry and unappetising. We were informed that these were ordered as a starter and that the other mains would be a few minutes! 20 minutes later we were still all without mains. 3 then arrived but myself and another member of the party then had to wait a further 10 minutes until ours arrived. When they did the scampi was barely warm and as though it had been sat for a while. Overall a disappointing visit and only Levi showing professionalism to his job!
Booked a double room but got a nice big family room. It was lovely and clean. Check-in was efficient. Comfortable bed and room a good temperature. Easy to park. Nice having the restaurant attached and got a great meal too.
Stayed for one night,on arrival waited 15 minutes for the receptionist to appear,the phone number on the reception went straight to voicemail not a good start. Had booked an evening meal in the pub to get the 20% discount sat down and waited 30 minutes to order an hour later our main courses arrived no reason given for wait or an apology, If we had sat and they had said you may be waiting upto an hour for food you make a decision to stay or dine elsewhere, the food was good when it arrived,the wife and I thought hope it's better at breakfast how wrong we were,walked in no explanation of where everything was,had to ask for some spoons for our cereals,had to ask for plates for toast as they all been used,asked were the yogurt and fruit was as stated on the menu got the reply we don't have any,order taken for two full English breakfasts an hour later it arrives at the table food okay, breakfast on a Sunday starts at 9 o'clock when we checked in asked if we could have breakfast earlier as we wanted to leave quite early to travel to the NEC the answer was a blunt no.The rooms are nice and clean and comfortable but the waiting times for food were terrible.not the best of stays.
