Just had my Mercedes C180 serviced by Dave at MD Motorcare. Dave offered me a loan car to drive to Cheshire Oaks shopping centre but as I am no longer familiar with the area and would no doubt get lost I asked that he drop me and my wife off at The Oaks. He was working alone that day so closed up his workshop and took us there in our car. The service schedule said that the plugs would need changing as the car is 5 years old. However that assumed an average annual mileage whereas our car has only covered 13500 miles in all that time so the plugs would likely still be in good for many more miles yet. Dave had quoted for the plug change though I later said there was no need to change them. Dave phoned us at the Oaks to say the car was ready and he would pick us up at the agreed point. I then asked Dave if he had changed the plugs and he said he hadn’t as I had suggested it was not necessary. Maybe next time. Here’s the thing. Dave could easily have said he had changed the plugs and charged the original amount on the estimate. I would have no way of knowing if he had or hadn’t. He reduced the cost of the service accordingly. He is clearly an honest, hardworking chap who deserves our support and thanks. It is good to have someone we can trust with our cars. Thought I would try these guys as I felt the dealership was a bit over priced and so glad I did, the service was brilliant from start to finish, they did the job perfectly and saved me a lot of money compared to what I had already been quoted, will defiantly be returning here and will be recommending to all my family and friends.

the best garage i have ever come across in 20 years of driving , nothing is too much trouble, superb service .i cannot recommend these guys enough . .twice they have repaired my ml 300 and saved me hundreds compared to mercedes main dealers.

Excellent independent Mercedes specialist. Dave and his staff offer the best MB service at much lower prices than dealers. He is MB trained and has all the diagnostic equipment. The workshop is in a new building and right next to the M53. Easy to find. I highly recommend them for all car service and repair, not just MB.

Brilliant service. We found the garage through luck and google. We're not from the Wirral so were just visiting but in need of some urgent repairs. They could have taken advantage of our desperation but were instead friendly, professional and did a superb job (oh yes and reasonable). Basically, if you were writing a list of attributes you'd like to see in a garage then MD Motorcare has them all.
