Had so many experiences in the McDonalds in Corby town centre. It’s rare to see it with all its windows these days! It has had a remodel since my last visit. Used to come here on weekends with friends, or after sixth form for a treat. Had it delivered via Ubereats quite a few times when I lived in the nearby estates too, yummy. Always some scary hooligans or drunk folk roaming around however, tarnishing its reputation. I remember them banning under 16s after 5pm for a period of time, thankfully I’d just turned 17. I see they’re still preventing access to upstairs seating! No surprise with the behaviour I used to witness up there. Today I also needed to use the loo, which was nice and clean.
One of my favourite eating place to go. It's less human contact more bots friendly. Walk in, head straight to the self-service kiosk. Let my fingers do the ordering. 15 minutes later I'm out of the place. Feeling contented and full.
All I wanted was a nice coffee, and I got milky water with no coffee taste. I was too far away to come back and complain. And it's not the first time. I guess, next time I should take a sip on the spot just to make sure it's a proper coffee. Or maybe just go to another place.
Finally, we waited for it!nI am hope you will surprise us!nAnd this place will be nice and has plenty of room!nThe food is gonna be hot and the display works.nUpdate ‼‼‼nAfter the renovation on 25.10.2024 , it became even worse, the design of the room resembles a very stingy and pitiful look. The furniture looks like they have saved a lot of money on it. The toilet was terrible and remained on the first floor, even no one fixed the door well, dirty floor, toilet, sink all the time, it looks like it is cleaned once a month. It's just terrible!!
Didn't have to wait long, ordered through the McDonald's app, the employee greeted with a smile, not bad for being somewhat busy. The one thing they forgot were napkins. I ordered the sweet chilli wrap with a sprite, pineapple stick and a 20 nugget sharebox with 3 different dips. The order was spot on and the food tasted great for the price and fast food standard. However the table was also a little dirty and the tables around it too, I also noticed a flickering light.
