Probably the best mcdonalds in slough, I always go here over the one in the local asda/high street. The food is generally better, crispier fries, warmer and better put together burgers, however during busier times it can dip in quality. Staff are always polite and the restaurant is clean
I’m very disappointed with the way food deliveries are being handled at this location. The staff don’t seem to properly secure or check orders before handing them over to delivery drivers. It feels like Uber Eats or other delivery drivers might be helping themselves to part of the food before it even reaches the customer.nnThis needs to be investigated seriously — customers are paying full price for incomplete or tampered orders, and it reflects poorly on the store. I hope management takes action to ensure all food is sealed and verified before leaving the restaurant.
I ordered food, but one driver canceled the order. When the food finally arrived, it was cold even though it’s only a 4-minute drive away. The large chips looked like they’d been eaten, and some other items were missing. The bag had definitely been opened and reclosed before it arrived, and it was not sealed by McDonald’s.
Food was good and tasted the usual expected taste. Had to ask for fries to be filled up, as they generally are pretty skimpy with their portions. The service was ok, but could have been much better. Asked for sauces, and they weren't put in the bag, not were any serviettes. Little things, but would have made the experience better.
Absolutely awful experience. The chicken was rock hard, like it had been sitting there for hours, and the chips were barely cooked. It was genuinely inedible. To make it worse, it cost a small fortune – for the same money I could have bought a really nice curry that would feed three of us over two nights.nnThere was nothing “fast” or “food” about it. Just overpriced, badly prepared rubbish. This has completely put me off – I won’t be buying McDonald’s again.
