The staff are wonderful, always have been regardless of what company have their name over the shop. It is about 'providing a service'. There is god will banter between staff and staff and customers, and we all love this. Attentive to the individual needs of customers. Andy currant manager has been great for me. As for stock, well that is a sign of the politics of our day. The prices are going up and up but I doubt the staffs wages are... Maggie.
I just wanted to leave a review to say how lovely all the staff are. Everyone is so polite and cheerful - it's a pleasure to stop in. Well done to everyone who works here, your customer service is excellent by far the best I've experienced anywhere else, and your efforts haven't gone by unnoticed. Keep up the good work
Used to be a very good shop shelves always full, lots of variety with some Morrisons bargains. After the issues of the last few years, COVID, various businesses owning the lease going out of business the shop now look a shadow of its former self. Shelves are often poorly stocked and variety suffers. Prices such as offers don't seem as keen or as numerous as well. The only bright spot is the staff who continue to make the best they can of the situation. Till staff are generally helpful and cheerful. I just hope the company resolves the ongoing stock and pricing issues as soon as possible!
I came to collect a Yodel parcel from here for the first time. I was served by a lady called Karen...funnily enough. It's a shame she had to live up to her name! All I had was a tracking code from Vinted. If you know anything about Vinted, you know you get a code to collect a parcel, either that or you just need to give your name and, voila - you pick the parcel up! Really that simple, or so I thought. Karen asked me for a barcode she could scan on her machine. I said, "sorry, I don't have that" and she proceeded to shout over me, "Next" and begins serving customers behind me!! I was shocked as I would frankly expect more subtlety from Morrisons customer service assistants - made me feel like I'd really done something wrong. She served the next customer and I jump in before she attempted to serve the one after that and I say, "Are you able to help me? I can give you my name, or can I give you the code on my screen?". She grabbed her machine and I proceeded to read it out...for her to say," no packages". I asked if she wanted me to try the machine myself, she started serving customers yet again also, she's not the only person on the tills and it wasn't busy. Meanwhile...did Karen offer to check the shelf of packages next to her? Did she even go as far as asking me for my name? NO. That would have been too easy! So much back and forth, I was actually baffled because she was acting in a way as though I'd done something to offend her. Rolling her eyes, speaking about me in front of me, turning her back, serving customers, not listening. I can only assume she was either having an awful day, or she's an awful human. Either way, she's done Morrisons a disservice as I won't ever go back there...unless of course I want to lose my mind. The manager eventually sorted the situation out and identified my parcel immediately it was one of about 5 on the shelf. Shame on your staff, they really ought to learn a thing or two about serving customers, or even just...being human!
Brilliant that they have an automated Amazon Locker to collect small parcels with decent opening hours. Larger items can also be "Click & Collect" delivered behind the desk. Love this for convenience, a much faster way to shop online!
The supervisor and young man who willingly helped me were just amazing. Thank you Sadie and team.
Good selection, but massively overpriced.....
It's a Morrisons Daily so a smaller one but happy It's there.
Good for getting the little odds bits you needed
Friendly staff, convenient parking.
