Really positive experience with this garage from start to finish. I was involved in a minor collision on 26th September. Phil assessed the damage and gave me a quote within an hour. It took my insurance a week to finalise. I dropped my car off on Monday the 2nd and it was ready by Friday 6th. Communication was great throughout and I’m delighted with the work carried out. I would definitely recommend their services.
The German motor company is the most trusted garage I’ve ever been too, they actually care about your car no garage in the area can even come close to this place I wouldn’t take my car anywhere else. Highly recommended and trusted with my car you will not get better people who truly care. Thank you to everyone at the German motor company.
As usual absolutely first class advice and service from the German Motor Company. I’ve been bringing cars here for a good 4/5 years since discovering the competition did not care as much about their customers. I cannot fault them for general maintenance or trickier jobs: they are thorough, reliable, and I generally get a very honest appraisal of what actually needs doing, before parting with any cash; you get to talk to someone who knows how the car works, and can explain it to a layman over the phone, or in person. They’re busy, but for good reason. Everything I’ve had fixed on my 16-year old car air con; passenger side air distributor; turbo intercooler pipe has stayed fixed after they’ve dealt with it. I’ve also had sound advice on MOT advisories. They are generally good at managing expectations on costs. The only area for improvement I’d say is if they would initiate the offer to take customers through the bigger estimates, to explain what is critical for good maintenance vs. what is simply nice to have. Recommended.

We have used The German Motor Company for many years and cannot recommend them highly enough. Great client service, very professional and comprehensive work - both maintenance and body repair work - and the car always comes back valeted and looking like new. A fantastic experience all round every time we use them. Thank you for such a great service from a great team.
Incredibly efficient, thorough, friendly, and good value for money. I have a Mini Clubman and there was a warning light about the brake pads, and after finding the Mini main dealers very pricy, I did a quick google search and found this place. After a quick call to book it in, I arrived yesterday and had a great experience from the first minute. I arrived at the same time as three other drivers and the two people working at the front of the garage helped us navigate this car-parking Tetris seamlessly. Then straight through to reception to confirm the plan replace brake pads and check tyres, left my keys and contact details and headed off. Got an email and a follow up text message within a couple of hours with a report and a quote. A quick call to give the go ahead, and then a further text message two hours after that to say the car was ready to pick up. A gentleman even offered to reverse the car out onto the road for me. It's next level customer service like this that ensures that I will return. Thank you to everyone who helped me and worked on my car yesterday.
Edited 15/08/2024 This is an edited update on my vehicle a 3 series BMW Y reg The German garage had my car in March 2024 and made a detailed diagnostic test to understand why it would whilst driving lose all power from battery and lock steering and retain fob. The staff asked me if I had recieved any re-call letters from BMW. The question they asked me explained why I had loads of envelopes with a red border ! The German garage had always managed to diagnose any problems or issues I had, usually in very short time and did on this occasion but they were not allowed to purchase the new part needed from BMW. So I diligently booked in my Y reg BMW 3 series estate, to BMW main dealers in Battersea, and was told the work would take about 2 hours, which I understood to be an assessment ! The car was delivered there on 16th of May 2024, after 3 months I am still waiting for the car to be fixed. The shop e mailed me and said its because BMW cant get the parts sent over to UK from BMW ? The car would lose all power and just stop dead, no lights no steering and no access to open doors or retrieve the key fob. This I am informed proved fatal on a winding country road at night where the car was hit from behind at full speed proving fatal to his family. Imagine being on M6 in middle or overtaking lane, at 60 mph and the car locks up, cant steer no lights !!! Very worrying! I urge anybody who has recieved a re-call notice and ignored it, Because your not having any issues to go and get it done, despite my experience of 3 months and still no repairs ! The catastrophic failure of all power is a potential outcome that could claim many lives, it was THE GERMAN garage who made me get the re-call done, and they pointed out the likely danger I, my family, and other road users could be placed in. Because of the years of dealing with this and the trust I have built up over the years, I was able to heed their advice and avoid a possible tragedy. 20/04/2024 Review Once again the staff at German motor company have gone above and beyond on customer service and just plain decent behaviour. They came to my address twice to try and get my car started, when this didnt happen they advised a strategy to get my car to their garage, despite their yard being full of cars.and my car having locked steering. I was.a big fan of theirs already but today they surpassed any reasonable expectations and helped me beyond normal commerce. They are easily the best garage I have ever used, remarkable service and friendly demeanour. I have been taking my BMWs to this garage for many years and I know the people who work there from my visits. They are all 100% trustworthy and really nice people. They have on occaision had to tell me bad news regarding my car, but they often warn you not to spend money badly regarding repairs. They will say " "Dont spend any more on this car as its not worth it as something else may go straight after" this has been invaluable and shows they value customers more than getting the work. They are never short of work because they give a great service and dont need to tout for buisness. I would recommend especially people who are not car savy to use this garage, you will be looked after and not exploited because of your lack of knowledge. You can trust their work and the safety of your family in their hands.I am as savvy as anyone not in the trade can be these days , basically I understand that taking a gear stick to a garage and asking them to put a new car on the other end of it is not a viable way to deal with garages! Luckily The guys and gal who work there look out for customers and tactically advise you against throwing good money after bad ! I have spent over the years but never once felt like I had been taken advantage of. Your car is what you and your family often trust with your lives. Very unprofessional welcome I have been to the garage for service my Mercedes Benz autotransmission with Genuine parts from Mercedes with invoice they refused because they want to use there Owen parts also he said he is gonna by them self I said this is from Mercedes but he said no .not recommended always bring your Owen genuine parts with them for service it's clearly dodgy
Jan 2024 -Booked in my BMW X1 for a replacement of very worn rear discs and pads - at circa 23,000 miles - seems the discs wear quickly on the X1! the work was quickly and efficiently carried out for less than BMW had quoted . The German Motor Co is very well organised and pleasant people to deal with. They have excellent communications and do not carry out any additional work without customer authorisation . This was my second service / repair and I will certainly use them again - much more convenient than 'local' BMW agents and better on price. Highly recommended.
