Wanted timber cutting but the person working in that department wasn’t helpful. Needed a sheet cutting into certain lengths. He claimed that they could only be cut into lengths of one size at an extortionate price. Also claimed all other Maxwell stores would do the same….rubbish! Went to B&Q, job done in 20 minutes by very helpful staff, all to the different length sizes I needed and at half the price quoted at Maxwells. Will never use them again. B&Q for me.
Very handy having this store locally. Staff are for the most part friendly and helpful though, some could benefit from an improved knowledge of the stock.
Went in for a few bits,staff are very friendly and helpful best still I could takey dog Oscar in which he enjoyed the free treats off 1 of the staff,managed with help everything I needed. They have a great selection of pet supplies too,I highly recommend
A good size store offering a range of DIY products. Very helpful staff and product knowledge. Delivery was perfect.
