I have been disgusted with the level of service I have received from Mattress man on Amazon. Having tried to return a faulty product, I have experienced nothing but hurdles and problems getting in between the way of me and a new bed, furthermore they have not fixed the problem or refunded me after over a month of email conversation. I told them about a design fault with the bed I purchased, and they insisted on sending me the same part! - AND after three weeks of chatting about it, whilst I was sleeping on the floor, which created back problems for me. I am not seeing a back specialist. They insisted it was not a common problem and thus a fault of my own but I can tell you I did a degree in design and this product was not right! They send a lovely email, but supply terrible beds, and when you complain about it, not yourselves, or GFW/Mattressman who supplied the bed will do anything about it! They didn't intend to solve the problem in any way. They wouldn't collect it, and they instead sent me the same part that was faulty before. It has nothing to do with the quality of the metal parts supplied, but the length of the legs in the central support system of the bed - they are too long, and make the whole frame buckle, even when the grips on the bottom of the other 4 legs are at their minimum position. We always order from Mattressman online, but decided to go in-store this time to try out a few beds. Jason was brilliant, very friendly and not pushy at all. We ended up buying from him and will return when we need more!. Tip....dont bother with "Dreams" over the road....buy from Mattressman!
Customer service seemed more keen on giving me a refund than actually sorting my problem... thought very unprofessional and completely unable to answer any of my questions. 5 days after order for new bed and they dont even know where it is or when it will arrive!! Bed better be as good as they claim.
Called the store to confirm closing time was at 6pm - traveled for 1hour to get there for 530pm to find the store closed! Owner came out and said he closed store early as he wants to go home, no apology, nothing! POOR customer service and time wasters. Took my custom and money elsewhere as a result! Your loss.
Order a bed, it arrived with broken legs. They wanted me to send back the bed and then arrange delivery for another day??????? Then the one they sent arrived with broken drawers?
Reasonably priced mattress and good services. Albeit a little awkward to get to without a car.
