If you like your fish and you're in North London, definitely give this place a try. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. The food is absolutely amazing. I like my monkfish so have it often in different places. Matthews monkfish is not like anything I've had before. I've never seen it cooked this way before, but it was to die for so moist and tasty I would highly recommend.
My wife and I came here spontaneously, I’m not a big fan of seafood so always cautious of fish restaurants. I ordered the steak and half lobster and it was incredible. Wife got fish and chips and I always try a little bit of the fish just to see if I like it. Normally I don’t but from here it tasted great. Highly recommend this place, lovely family run business as well.
Really lovely atmosphere of the restaurant! Had the Goat cheese and beetroot starter as well as the fish tacos which were amazing! For mains we had the lobster linguine and steak with prawns. The only downside was that the prawns were over done and the steak was a bit too rare.
Lovely restaurant and amazing food. The only disappointment were the potatos that came with the seabass as a few of them were undercooked and hard to bite, however the side potatoes were perfect!! Will definitely be coming back here in the near future. Thank you Matthew's kitchen for great service
One of the best seafood places I have been. It is a little gem in N20. I was soooo impressed with the freshness and quality of the food coupled with the great service given to us by Matthew & the team. HIGHLY RECOMMEDED!!!! Will be coming back!!!
Great place for a seafood dinner, all the dishes were cooked fantastically well. There are some good specials every day too, and the server was very accomodating with any additional requests.
Amazing seafood with such a nice vibe as a restaurant. The staff was very nice to us specially Angela! We definitely are going to be back .
Lovely place and amazing sea food. Good value for money. The 3 gentlemen that served us were very polite and friendly. I would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a nice quiet place to eat some great sea food platters.
Every dish was absolutely delicious and the portions are very generous. We had the fish soup, beetroot and goats cheese salad and the fish taco to start with. All were great starters! We then had the grill special, the fish and chips and the Bouillabaisse- again all great dishes. Will definitely come back!
Went with my entire family for lunch. It was absolutely perfect! All dishes were cooked with perfection and service was wonderful!Food: 5/5
