So we had a lovely evening and nice food. I was surprised they charge extra for vegan cheese. I disagree with restaurants making profit over plant based alternatives . Like vegan cheese and animal cheese cost pretty much same. Why charge like 1/3 of a cheese bar? Let’s be fair to people ?
Food - very small portions for what they charge. While tasty enough all on the basic side, nothing standout. So again on the expensive side for what it is. We ordered the mixed grillespecially tiny and lamb cubes. £6 for a tiny portion of frozen chips . Tasted cheap. For the price would expect homemade chips. Dessert - baklava dry and ice cream not nice given its from what looks like a lovely parlour. Tasted cheap and underwhelming in flavour. Service was good and location is nice - only thing that could possibly explain why they charge the steep prices here. Wouldn't go again as can get far nicer food elsewhere. For balance have had takeaway pizza before - that I would recommend. Will save yourself a fortune eating on the heath and the disappointment of otherwise basic food!
Amazing restaurant! Cozy decor, excellent food, fantastic service. The calamari starter was very so good, we nearly fought over it. Both lamb dishes, the skewers and laz's favourite, were grilled perfectly with tender meat. Also enjoyed the crunchy vegetable. The brown haired waitress was so lovely and made us feel welcomed. The location was also perfect for a walk in the heath afterwards. We will be back.
After a long walk, hungry and upset that it was impossible to find a table somewhere around, we were so happy that they accepted us and made space for 8 of us. We really appreciated this!!! Food was delicious …. But … we received all of our food in different time like someone already finished the food while others were still waiting some of the dishes were a bit cold. When we ordered coffee, we received 2 then they went for break and had to ask many times for the rest of the coffee - was an embarrassing situation….. It was the same with payment - had to wait so long to be able to pay even at that point the restaurant was almost empty. So have mixed feelings with this place.
The food is great. The staff are very friendly and very interested. I'm glad ı came here. Everything was perfect. You can definitely come here and have a nice meal with a nice wine.Food: 5/5
I had a really pleasant time here, we showed up without booking and got a table right away. The service was quick and efficient! We had a Iskender kebab which as REALLY tasty the only negative thing I can mention was the wine which wasn’t cold enough for a warm day, but overall a great place.Food: 5/5
Nice pizza. Weak coffee. Owner wouldn’t accept voucher won in the nearby school so not very community spirited. Our waiter was pleasant.Food: 3/5

Went here to get out ove the wind yesterday. While the baby slept I'm the pram. I was helped by a staff member to get up the small steps to the restaurant. Wasn't really hungry but I thought I'll grab something. The octopus salad was nice but I felt it needed something else. Either way it was tasty. My Turkish coffee was delicious. I loved how it was served. Very smile staff n pleasant. Would return to try something different.
