Staff are great - products are really poor. Shoes started coming apart less than a month after purchase.
This is a great place for a disabled wheelchair user, they have a large changing room with accessible seating, handles and an emergency chord. There is a large mirror however what’s missing are any hooks to hang up clothing- could be perfect but missing this.nnDislike how there’s no longer any staff serving and it’s all self service as the tills are not accessible for wheelchair users.nnThere’s always a great selection of clothing and a bit of household but sometimes hit and miss there.nnParking is okay- not many disabled spaces but that’s no reflection on Matalan.
I had to return an item and exchange it. I was served by a new member of staff. Very friendly and helpful
Nice clothes reasonable prices. I actually thought that you needed a membership card to be able to shop there but according to Matalan it's just a reward card - and if you choose to have one you'd get additional discounts/rewards etc.- but its voluntary. I'll make a return trip there.
Very good home and wear store. Fairly priced. Good reasonably priced children's clothes. Lovely home bedding, etc. But why do we have to serve ourselves. Always end up calling for someone.
