There was this African lady, one of the shop attendees, my word, what a level of customer service she gave me, honestly..the best I have experienced thus far since moving to Birmingham. She was patient, helpful, made suggestions, mixed, matched...I remember at some point she was surmonned upfront when needed, she told me she would be back and she indeed came back to ensure I was satisfied. I will certainly come back over and over again if such service is what I will receive from your workers. I didn't get her name but please say a big thank you to her as me being new in Birmingham, her helping aura really made me feel welcomed.
If this is the standard of retail now it is simply inadequate. We got re directed to the self serve till where we had to scan all of our shopping while a worker stood at a cash till watching us while there were no other customers around. On top of that we were told they charge 10p per hanger and got asked to take them off if we didn't want the hangers so we then had to stand and take the hangers off too again while the worker watched. At this point there's no such thing as customer service if a customer has to serve themselves.

enter the place all the eyes on you!???start saying there are camras in the store???? do i have to wear suit?? told the lady i want to try clothes on we have not got any changingrooms!it was a lie,very sad to go to this kind of places,never again,no respect for customers at all.made me feel very bad looking for clothes,never again.felt realy bad
Not a customer friendly place. No rest rooms in the facility so better go prepared if going with kids or the elderly.

Your store was not accepting cash as per the communication from the little staff you have in store. I and probably many others do not approve of whatever you think this “new way of working is” again I would call it an agenda. So again f u MATALAN. What a silly answer you gave.

Couldn't used there toliet I think it's a disgraceful a big shop no toliet when you try clothes on and if you got a medical conditions ask to used toliet and said no
Service painfully slow on tills, they need to clearly put staff on who can work faster. I'm sure they are fully aware of the same ones who take forever.
