Good store, well stocked. Actual wood frames approximately A3 with mount to take an A4 photo. I use them to frame my watercolours. Incredible value at £5.
A massive lovely Matalan store in Biggleswade. This is the closest Matalan to St. Neots. Ample, free Car parking on the business park. I went here for a quick drop in to buy a white shirt and a bow tie. I found what I was looking for secured a deal too and got amazed be range of products they have to offer. If you love Matalan and around Biggleswade, you better not miss this store. Thank you Matalan!
I mean, where to begin… I ordered items online, went into store to collect. Was dealt with by a lovely young lady who found my items and gave me a receipt this is important!. I asked if I could try them on as wanted to check items before leaving. Upon trying them on, they were not right. I went back to the desk and waited in line to return them. Upon getting to the front of the queue, a young fellow took the items and returned them for me. He said I would get a e-receipt within 24 hours. Now, call me crazy but… I asked what I would be given there and then to prove I’d returned the items. He gave me the collect receipt. I explained, that proves I’ve collected the items, I wanted proof that I’d returned them. “It’ll come in 24 hours” was the response. This then went back and forth several times until I realised I was banging my head against a brick wall. Eventually, after requesting a manager for the third time, I got someone who gave me a hand written note. How ridiculous is a company that has a standard policy of not providing evidence of a transaction….? I’ve always been a fan of matalan but this is just another episode in a series of awful service and products. Matalan is not the company it used to be, I for one will be another customer going elsewhere in future. I’m done with them.
Quality seems better than previous years. Well worth a visit. Easy parking.
Lots of choice and also have changing rooms again.
I meant to write this review last time we came. Nothing has changed so this is from 2 visits. Dirty, dusty changing rooms with no chair to put your clothes on or sit down. Incredibly squeaky changing room doors. Changing rooms upstairs were closed during Covid and never re-opened, so we had to trek to the other side of the store, and back upstairs to look for alternative sizes, then back down and to the back of the store to the changing room. Not a pleasant place to shop.
Need to update. Maybe modernization is required. Good prices. Where menswear is concerned 90% is quite old fashioned and size wise they are the same as all other high street clothing stores, the bigger the size, the longer the product should be. I spent a bit of time with my girlfriend in the ladies section and again rather old-fashioned.
Difficult to find a disabled parking space outside but a good bargain shop
Some very good sales prices and some nice items
No changing rooms!! Why?? Two kids with age sizing is always going to fail without changing rooms. Spent best part of £100 and now need to return several items due to not fitting properly. Please sort your changing rooms and make them available again like every other retailer on the High Street.
