Wow! No staff to be seen! Service was slow and a lady called Sarah was very unpleasant, no thank you!
Ordered four chairs from this store as it was expressed as being available for collection on the same day from 4 o'clock. I then get notified that the item is going to be available from 9 o'clock the following day. Customer service expressed that this is a problem that needs looking at as it happens often. Waste of my time and money as chose this store outside of my home area especially to get the items in time.
Not impressed at all. Staff lady wasn’t friendly as I have every right to see the item even though she said the measurements are on the website and I was like well I want to look at is as it’s not always accurate. Quite rude tbh. Wasn’t even in stock either I mean come on. Why is every item saying pay now and collect at 9am the next day. What happened to buying an item and getting it straight away. Drives me mad all this different stuff now. So I wen’t online to make a complaint about it. You can’t even send an email to complain all I can see is do a live chat but I don’t want to do that. So had no option to make a complaint on here as that was the inly option. Argos is not as good as it used to be. Bring back the old Argos. The new Argos sucks and the staff sre not friendly anymore. Discusted.
My first time here and it is a bit odd. You go upstairs in Sainsburys in a gloomy lift if stairs are a problem. The young man was helpful and efficient but seemed to be on his own and there was a bit of a wait. My click and collect mattress topper packaging had a hole and the fabric was grubby. I have not returned it be a use I desperately needed it post operation. Finally I had an attempted fraud on my card with a spurious click and collect from Argos. Very suspicious there is a dishonest employee at head office passing on card details. Authorities have been notified.
Argos bureaucrats refused to give me the flowers I have paid for. Parcel was still there however I had the cheek to show up one day late. Staff were nice
Had the imprudence to buy a Canon Pixma TS 3451 wireless printer. The kit did not include a cord for connecting to a laptop and had to buy it. Without this cord, for some reason, setup is impossible. For some reason, the printer prints every other time and lives its own life. it is impossible to leave and, as I understand it, the reviews that are on the site are overpriced. In general, the purchase experience is negative.
Nice looking new store. Love the new service points and catalogue searches which are actually responsive to touch unlike the old ones. It's a shame that they never seem to have the items I want in stock whenever I go in. It's rated 3 stars because of that. The actual Argos website needs updating but I can't hold that against this store. If items were in stock I'm sure it would get a 4-5 rating as the staff seem friendly enough.
Poor customer service and a complete jobsworth on the counter.
Was told via email my items were all ready and went to collect, I was told 3/4 were there and could even see the fourth item but they wouldn't give it to me. I stated I had paid for it but they dismissed this and told me to order another and that I was mistaken and must have ordered 3 items. I tried to order another but it was out of stock. I went home and checked my emails to see and I had indeed ordered 4 items. I called to ask them why this has happened as I would now have to make another unnecessary trip for the item, they were uninterested and didn't even apologise. They just don't seem to be bothered about helping you in the slightest, no extra effort made whatsoever. Really bad customer service.
I always browse the catalogue at home first so I don't waste my time in the store. If it's not in stock I always reserve then go to collect when the item is in store. I have always recieved great customer service from all members of the Argos staff, young and old. Myself and my wife have recieved help with multiple heavy items to our cars by staff. The lay out of the store is very minimal, no clutter of shelves of tv's and toys. Plenty of tablets to replace the old style catalogue browsing. Never had any drama with any staff issues or items we have purchased. Overall a very bright, airy and smart store. Will use the store over and over again. 5 stars.
