I believe that since May 2022 new management is in place.I was a guest, as a Friend invited me to Dinner after ordering Takeaway, so I do not know the pricing. Had Chicken Tikka Masala and the full works, have to say portions were generous and we both thoroughly enjoyed our meal, delicious. Arrived promptly too. Will have another meal from here for an occasional treat now and look forward to having it..
Appalling meal. 62 years of travel and enjoying great food this stands out there as the worse Indian meal we have ever eaten. Greasy slop. Poorly cooked chicken greasy tasteless Bombay potatoes. Rice was pasty just nasty. Maine dish was just an union red sloppy mess. Disgraceful standards. We cannot recommend this take away. I like to give a positive reviews for businesses however giving a one star is too good. Just to add. I cannot believe any of these 4 and 5 star reviews are authentic. It’s not possible believe us,this is child like cooking.
If I could give zero stars I would. Ordered a Bhunda and Pasanda, the Padanda is the worst colour I have ever seen, smells disgusting and is the worryingly thin. Bhunda is a chunky curry with hardly any liquid, more like a chutney. 2 poppadoms put in the bag which are stale. Nearly £4 for the smallest bag of oven chips. We haven't even eaten it, thrown it in the bin and ordered elsewhere!
I tried this Indian takeaway about a month ago, as I thought I'd give another Indian takeaway a chance. I'm very glad I did. I ordered a set meal for 2, the one with the tikka masala and the Madras. From other restruants, a chicken Madras is usually very watery and nothing special. But not from this place. Their tikka masala is also out of this world. On another note, I have also never had dry onion bhajiis from other Indian restruants, they have always been wet and soaking with oil. But again, from this restruant, the bhajiis are dry, crispy and full of taste. I believe it's proof that they go out of their way to provide an excellent quality meal, and as such, I have ordered the same meal, 4 times since. Delivery is around an hour for me as I live on the outskirts of Plymouth, whitleigh. But at non peak times, it has arrived within 30 minutes. I usually like to give a balanced review and also state the things I diddnt like, but I can't think of anything. I would therefore, highly recommend this place, especially if you want to try a proper Madras!!
Absolutely disgusting !! the worst Indian food I’ve ever tasted it’s disrespectful to the cuisine which normal is delicious and fresh tasty! this is not they serve small portions no meat just sauce it all tastes the same !they are robbing your money! poor staff attitude when complaining … my advice not use as you’ll be sorely disappointed
Great food, possibly the best in Plymouth, we only ever order Indian food from Masalaz. Each dish is different and lots of flavour. Often get free poppadoms and fast delivery service. Friendly family business
If i could give no stars then that would be it. Got told the food would take half a hour, over 70 minutes late it finally arrived. The food was so greasy, even the boxes when you took them out of the bag, had it all over them. The food was terrible quality. The king prawn butterfly still had their shell on, mainly just hard batter clearly done at a high heat. I honestly don't know why this place has so many good reviews?? Probably the people that work there or are fake. The worst indian ive had. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.
Good fresh cooked food with a modest price. I'm contacting in Plymouth from the Midlands so well adjusted to Indian cuisine, this one stands out well from many back home. Highly recommended
Great food but ridiculously late. So late, in fact, that we were about to call again, for the second time, to tell them to forget ir. It seems from all the reviews I have since read that this is routine for them,
Had a really nice vindaloo but could at least been given a Papadam or 2 with it. Everywhere else does that
