Wow what a fish chip restaurant . I love food. I would say the best fish I have ever eaten. White flaky cod. Batter perfect crisp crunchy not to thick . Excellent friendly waitress. Fish straight from boat to table. I would highly recommend this to anyone. Nice atmosphere inside. I ate the whole plate. Cod & chips salad. A bargain at £10 . Glorious place right next to quay side 10 out 10.
Not the best judge of fish& chips but I wasn't impressed by this one. This fish was good and I tried the meckerel that was a nice change. However the potatoes were one of the worst I ever head whilst eating fish and chips. Soft, soggy, lifeless. Not for me
I enjoyed my cod, chips and a pea fritter. However, my mother struggled to get through hers and had to leave a lot of chips - next time it's a kids portion! Ps.The occasion was somewhat spoiled by two women and their three kids who rather took over the room.
Was going across the water,to get a portion ,yes one portion of chips, see why,... but as usual the flippin bridge was up to let one boat through ,whilst we all stood and froze .. But it was my good fortune, popped into the marlboro...and the chips were £0.40 cheaper than the other chippy ...40 pence cheaper Mayn't seem much to all you tycoons, but a family of four ...? Good size portion...well wrapped ,due to the extreme weather... But they were ,again tepid when I unwrapped them when home, five mins away....? And there wasn't enough salt and vinegar.. Like I said ,like to see value for money,so brought the chicken from Aldi...
Ordered for a party of 15 people and everyone agreed it's the best, tastiest fish in town! The crinkle cut chips are delicious - soft and melt in your mouth! Chicken chunks were great quality chicken and crispy batter perfect!
Very decent Fish and Chips. Portions are quite big, so consider getting the Small vs. the Large. Fish is fresh, tender, moist and the batter is thin and not oily. Chips could have been crispier, and sauces come in small packages like on McDonald's, which is not fun to eat with.
Best fish & chipsin town! Must try their pea fritter! Eat in restaurant too. Enjoy the take-away & sit along harbour side experience. Good service. Gets busy tho - for a reasonFood: 5/5
Agree with most of the reviews above. BEST fish and chips I’ve had . The chips were good, not amazing, but the fish and the sides were generous in amounts and the waitress was lovely and very attentive . Would recommend dining in. Would highly recommend and hope the business continues to grow . Well done on such a great establishment
We think this is possibly the best Fish and Chip shop in Weymouth. We ate in the restaurant and were served by an extremely helpful and cheerful lady. The food was cooked to order and was hot and very well cooked. We normally have takeaway and sit at the Harbour and eat it but as it was a windy and cold day we ate inside and would definitely recommend this chip shop for eather in, or Takeaway. All the staff were friendly and will sure use again.
Lovely fish and chips. Massive portions!Food: 5/5
