Decent fresh fish at a good price. Cooked up some delicious fish and chips using the cod and skate. Mussels were tasty too. Would definitely recommend, if you live in MK then encourage you to support local and give them a try.

Fantastic quality fishmongers now selling meat and deli too, Daniel and his staff are friendly and helpful. Daniel’s is a hidden gem of Newport Pagnell High Street and across Milton Keynes.
Just a quick note to say how lovely and fresh the trout and cooked prawns are from Daniels fish. Best tasting prawns I’ve had in years, It’s fantastic to have wonderful fresh fish in Milton Keynes, beats the supermarket fish counters by far. Well done Daniel I will be letting all my fish lover friends know, and sending them to you!
If you are after fresh raw sea food, this is a must go place. Daniel is very friendly and helpful as well. He prepared the fish so well. The variety and quality you find in this shop can not be matched with any shop in Milton Keynes. Visit this place if you are after genuine and quality sea food.
Superb quality fish. I have used Daniel now for 6 months and everything has been superb. I have not asked for the fish to be prepared so I cannot comment on the quality of filleting. I hope those who posted such poor reviews understand that it is a new family business and that they also raised it with Daniel before putting it on Google!!!
I spent about £60 pounds at Daniels fish. I bought various items. But I have to be honest here. I was extremely disappointed when I opened up my crab claws and found them to have a strong ammonia smell. My partner also said the same thing. I sampled one of the claws and it tasted spoiled. Being a fishmonger myself in previous employment. I can tell you that crab should not smell like this. Either it has been left on display past date or it was past date before the shop recieved it. The other bits I ordered, salmon, muscles, cockles and octopus. Were perfectly fine and tasted fresh. I will come again in a few weeks. But I won't be buying any more crab claws. Prices are not on the cheap side. And after spending over £60 I was annoyed that I had to throw the crab in the bin.
Was very excited to see a fishmongers open close by but unfortunately my experience was very disappointing. The fish selection was very good but the service was rude and unhelpful. It might have been due to only one person at the till who was also preparing the fish. The fish I got was not so much cut as obliterated with a dull hammer. It wasn't even descaled properly. While making the fish I was still trying to de-scale it. I was scared while eating it because of trying to navigate between the bones and the scales. In the end I stopped because the fear overcame my hunger. Hopefully this was only my experience and others have survived a better fate.
Visited for the first time and bought a beautiful fresh, thick Halibut fillet. Good selection of other fish and seafood on display. Will return for more!
Terrible experience! Have never had such poorly cut fish ever before. It was cut with a blunt knife therefore completely ruining the fish. The scales weren't properly removed either so had to pick them out of the curry despite washing it before putting it in. So disappointed!
