This is an incredible club.The standard of teaching is extremely high. I have the highest regard for Mark and his instructors. Their knowledge, skills and patience have brought my kids on leaps and bounds. They are unrecognisable from when they started such a short time ago. I have even decided to have a go at something new myself and enrolled in the club's jiu jitsu class which I am massively enjoying. Can't recommend these guys highly enough. No idea how anyone can have a negative experience here as previously posted I come every week and have never experienced anything short of top class. Great fun and an excellent learning experience. You would be hard pushed to find better.

My son started (7 years old when started) attending the Jiu Jitsu classes in January 2017. We wanted to find our son a hobby that he really enjoys & looks forward to while also instilling fundamental principles he can take with him forever such as respect, patience and a strong work ethic. Marksman ticks all the boxes; he absolutely loves the dojo and looks forward to every single class. This morning I reminded him he has Jiu Jitsu tonight, he fist pumped the air with a big YESSSS. He has worked very hard week in week out and his Sensei’s have instilled a desire into him to get better week on week and he knows what it takes to get there. His behaviour at school has improved which is very important. The sense of satisfaction it brings knowing my son is learning how to defend himself in a productive way while enjoying it is massive, self-defence is vital. I started the adult kickboxing classes in February 2017; I had a miss-conception of a martial arts gym that is full of bruisers who didn’t make you feel welcome. It is the exact opposite; you feel very welcome from class 1, nobody judges you, everybody helps you and the group of people that attend week in week out are great to be around. I enjoy every class, I have played football all my life but never have I felt as physically fit as I do now. Mark is extremely committed to every student and he expects the same in return. Every class is different and well thought out which makes it easy to enjoy. The quality of education provided is first class and it has filled me with confidence. I would strongly advise anybody who has considered taking up a martial art to give it a go it has been fantastic for me and my son; when my daughter is 5 in 6 months she will be starting too!
