It's 2018 and this branch of Marks and Sparks still has no self-service checkout! It took me just 2 mins to gather my items but over 10 mins to pay for them. Come on M&S, there is plenty of space if you replaced the staff operated 8 basket only checkouts with 8 self-service points, as I've never seen more than 3 in operation at any time, typically 2.

Ok for convenience shopping. Has the usual m&s food favourites & always good for easy, throw in the oven but homemade tasting meals. Dine in for £10 is usually a little thin on the ground but maybe I turn up too late.

Not one of the largest M&S stores but it has a reasonable variety of choice, which is welcome in a high street that has suffered with change for the worse since the financial crisis.

A smaller store. Possible to park at rear of store which is convenient. Unimpressed with restaurant.  Choice of food limited.
