Centre was a little busy, and car park had limited spaces. I was able to go into food department and get what I wanted and pay in about 10 mins, in a store where I do not know the layout. Good I think on a bank holiday.

A store that you have to hit at the right time (see Google’s busiest times indicator). If you go at lunch you will encounter a lot of local workers collecting their sandwiches etc. However a midmorning trip will find you in plenty of space, with a good coffee shop and a wide variety of food available.

I went to Marks and Spencer today. I spent a voucher that I won in the Arndale car raffle. Found lots of wonderful bargains in the sale. The staff were very friendly, patient and helpful.
