Tried the tea with banana cake here. The tea is a no brainier but the cake was old and dry and tasted old too. The place looked under staffed and I hoped for something better.
Terrible hygiene. Disgusting. I walked in, ordered carrot and coriander soup with a bread roll and then promptly walked out, after I saw the waitress flick back her very lengthy hair extensions, then use the same hands to take out the bread roll and place it on my plate.
Poor food hygiene standards - avoid! Rude staff. One staff repeatedly licked fingers and handerling food without washing before serving food. Tables and chairs dirty food and unknown smears. Empty tables with food left out. £7 for 2 cans and a scone, which was also wrong order scone.
Nice coffee but service is lacking. Staff seem somewhat uninterested. We went there based on what their online menu offered but most of the breakfast items listed weren't actually available in the cafe. Won't be rushing back.
They have two sets of doors, but kept both of them open on a cold day while all their customers sat with coats on. As if climate warming isn't worrying enough, these guys are almost literally heating the outside!
Recommend avoiding. Chicken burger was the size of a bread roll and £6.50. Side salad was a bit of dry rocket with one cherry tomato. Didn't fill me up - need another meal
Poor customer service. Same product three days in the row takeaway tea and three different prices. Hi Tried to explain this the the blond young lady, but it appeared to be far to much trouble for her. Looks like I will be poping over to the station from now on.
Food was pretty basic, Panini's ok. Good if you want quick stop, only if the service was quick.. Coffees were ok. All the gear but no idea. Maybe new years eve took its toll?
Great coffee, food is freshly prepared so expect a short wait. Staff were friendly to me, prices are a little high, but it's a City Centre cafe...
Both our courses arrived at the same time! Training required. However, the soup was ample and of excellent quality.
