A great little place to shelter from the rain and enjoy a warm cup of coffee and a fabulously tasty treat. We got a flat white and a giant Nutella cookie. The cookies are soft like CA and decorated with delicious toppings. Swing in. Grab something. Sweets. Sandwich. Tea. Coffee. Enjoy yourself!
We were looking for a spot for breakfast. The café only offers a few tables, mostly only for two people. The lady at the bar seemed very stressed and in a hurry. The food and the coffee were good. Many people just pass by for takeaway. Therefore it can get very busy and uncomfortable.
Nice coffee shop. It has a lovely interior and the barista was friendly. They also have a nice selection of alternative mills which are good if you have a lactose intolerance. The coffees themselves are also very delicious. It’s also reasonably priced. I would recommend this place.
Good place to eat. One of the best option near the castle.The price is ok and the staff is nice. It is a nice small place to have brunch
So glad I found good coffee in Edinburgh and I'm picky being a barista cosy place to sit in as well. They also have lactose-free coffee options and a few pastries to choose from. Simply delicious, I'm delighted! Friendly service, I'm definitely coming back :
Very small Cafe..Food not bad. For fast easy eating food or take away..this could be your favourite as prices are reasonable.
Very good flat white. And the zebra Nutella thing I ate was so insanely delicious and very generous for the price. Very nice so that we had to come back and sit down the next day.
This looked like a cute coffee shop from outside, but it felt a little gross on the inside i.e., stained seat cushions and pastries that looked old + dried out. Beyond that, the barista played with her hair the entire time she took our order. Yuck, no thanks. The coffee wasn’t good either. Lots of coffee grounds floating in my Americano.
I went there for breakfast in march and I was greeted by friendly staff upon entering. The food at the cafe was good and especially enjoyed the coffee made by the young women working. The customer service at the cafe was amazing such friendly people working there After my experience I would highly recommend the cafe for anybody’s in the area wanting a good cafe and good atmosphere
