"The Market Road Football Pitches are situated next door to the Islington Tennis Centre and Gym in the north west of the London Borough of Islington.It has two full-size third-generation artificial surface pitches that are marked for 11-a-side and 5-a-side football and three five-a-side pitches. With leagues, block bookings and a comprehensive programme for juniors including birthday parties; our pitches are the first choice for football players in Islington. There is a training room overlooking the pitches ideal for courses.You can book online up to 5 days in advance or at Islington Tennis Centre and Gym up to 28 days in advance by calling us."

Very good facilities and very easy to get to via the tube.
Good facility, it has been set out well so you can watch the games as well as taking park. Clean changing rooms and well managed.

Warning do not book. They double book everything through a scam company called Play Football and on arrival we were told Play Football had no access to their booking system despite a huge poster on the wall offering to book pitches through none other than Play Football. Even though we had a booking confirmation email we were turned away in the rain by the worst employee I’ve ever experienced at the desk. He just kept rudely repeating “not my problem, Playfootball don’t make bookings I do!” even though he had a cancellation and we had paid up front. Terrible service and clearly don’t respect football at all to let a pitch go empty and turn paying customers away. As Arteta would say - Desgracia
An amazing facility with so much to offer from quality 4G football pitches full 2 x 11v11 as well as 3 x 5v5. Lovely changing rooms with hot showers, good staff at Reception such as Rob, David and the rest of the Team. Enjoy

A hidden gem in Inner London. In some Midweek evenings you have a choice to watch one of the two 11 a side games played simultaneously in the two pitches within the complex.

I dropped my son here for training, I used to play here many years ago but the layout has been changed in recent years & is better. The playing surface is also better & the changjng rooms & facilities are so much better.
