Returned some BT equipment and the lady who served me advised to have a proof of postage as she was charged by BT when she returned her equipment. As expected BT charged me £150 for non return of items; which was swiftly reimbursed when shown proof of postage. Big thank you & great insight & advice.
Very bad receiving mobile signal to access barcodes and details for returning a package. No wifi for the staff to access the barcode reader they use their mobiles, takes a lot of time for a simple return item process.nnAdditionally, they are quite impolite.nnFelt like I was in medieval times.
Posted two simple small birthday cards in one envelope to Cyprus. The envelope was not large stamp size and it passed through the thickness test. I confirmed they were of no value and I did not want fast named day delivery as once in Cyprus post tends to go slow anyway. I was charged £7.90 which I exclaimed seemed expensive. Nevertheless I was not offered any other pricing option. It played in my mind and when I looked on the Royal Mail site the price should have been £2.50. Looking at receipt I have been charged for tracking the cards. I did not ask for this service. I told the cashier that they were just two birthday cards nothing at all of value.I feel very disappointed and feel like I have been upsold without being asked. It was £5.40 over what I should have paid.nI gave three stars as the staff are always very pleasant.
Exceptional service when I visited to renew my Passport and Driving License. Community support is first class.
