What an incredible South African experience…and it’s all thanks to Mark and his team. We were recommended to Mark by our friends and straight away the level of attention was superb. We went to Mark with two things, the location for our trip and our budget. From the start Mark started sharing ideas of places to go and the top things to see and do as well as somethings we hadn’t even thought of. Marks knowledge was incredible and from that moment on we knew we were in safe hands. We had shopped around and looked at other tour operators TrailFinders, Flight Centre & Kuoni who offered a ‘tailor made’ trip prior to speaking with Mark but none ticked all the boxes. We found that they were only able to offer hotels/excursions/tours etc from the providers they had teamed up with which we found this to be quite restrictive and didn’t provide the best value for money. The service offered also wasn’t very personable. For us, it was very much a conveyor belt style of service. With Mark, there were no limits. If we found a hotel we liked, he would book it for us. If we wanted to do or see a certain thing, he would get us on that tour. If we wanted a private or group excursion, no problem. The whole experience from start to finish truly was bespoke and tailor made to us whilst being within our budget. There was the perfect balance of communication throughout which made us feel like we were being looked after and valued. And if we had any questions, Mark was more than happy to help. Nothing was too much. Even with only a couple of days to go until we went on our trip, Mark was more than happy to FaceTime us to run through our itinerary. One aspect which really sets Mark Bratt Travel apart from the rest is the use of WhatsApp. There is no phoning a contact centre to speak to someone who has no idea about you booking. You get straight to the people who sorted it for you and know your trip inside and out. Not only that, when you are on your trip, this allows you to contact them straight away wifi is everywhere these days and they can get straight onto whatever it is you might need. No waiting, no fuss, just brilliant service. Finally, the use of the Trip Plans app has your day to day itinerary uploaded to it so you know exactly what you are doing and where you need to be at every step of your trip. Flights, transfers, hotels, excursion, tours, restaurant reservations…every detail you could possibly need is included. Even entry tickets are uploaded so you don’t need to print anything off. It’s hassle and stress free. Everything is done for you, you just need to turn up. We cannot recommend Mark Bratt Travel enough. No matter where you want to go or whatever your budget, you MUST speak to Mark and his team before booking with anyone else. We trust and rate them so much, we have already booked our next trip with them. Great service, great value, great everything!
Absolutely perfect from start to finish. Scott, our travel consultant was really thorough in his understanding of what we wanted and his consultative approach and wide knowledge were hugely appreciated given we were considering areas of the world we had never visited. We were celebrating a special occasion and it was tricky for us to manage the fact that we wanted our first proper luxury holiday, but on a tight-ish budget. Scott worked really hard to secure us a great deal, and he put together the most memorable, awesome trip imaginable. I would recommend Mark Bratt Travel 100%. They delivered the holiday of a lifetime, and I have them, and in particular Scott, to thank for us creating so many epic memories on the most wonderful trip.
We had an amazing holiday at Dusit Thani in the Maldives organised by Scott from Mark Bratt Travel. It isn't often that the reality of a destination is better than the photos in the brochure and we found Dusit Thani exceeded our expectations at every turn. The thing that really helped were the suggestions and experience from Scott in advising us how to get the most out of the holiday such as splitting our time between a beach villa and an ocean villa which we wouldn't have thought of ourselves and really added to the experience. The deluxe beach villa was superb and such a different experience to the ocean villas that had drawn us to the Maldives. Since Scott took the time to get to know us he found a destination that worked for us as a couple with aspects we both uniquely enjoyed from cycling to the spa. All contributed to making a very relaxing holiday and we would definitely use Mark Bratt in future. Thanks for such a great experience.
Huge thank you to Scott and the team at Mark Bratt Travel, they made our dream honeymoon real. After 4 attempts of trying to go to the Maldives, they made it happen for us and it was so worth the wait, the island we stayed on was amazing - pure luxury and incredibly relaxing! Both villas we stayed in were gorgeous and the little extras they arranged made the whole trip extra special. Even with the madness of the pandemic and international rules, we didn’t have to worry about anything, Scott made sure we had all the info we needed and knew what do when, we won’t hesitate to book our next holiday with Mark Bratt Travel again, they helped make our honeymoon an unforgettable holiday!
I can’t thank Scott enough for arranging our amazing trip to Sicily- he found us two incredible hotels which were exactly what we were looking for and more, would definitely go back to both of them again. He also arranged a guided tour of Mount Etna which was one of the highlights of our trip. Everything went super smoothly, the app they used was fantastic for keeping all the information together and Scott was always on hand to answer any questions we had, big or small. Without doubt will be booking through Mark Bratt travel again and can’t recommend them enough
Scott at Mark Bratt planned our, in his words, 'Epic US Honeymoon'. Epic doesn't do it justice. Absolutely everything went without a hitch, and every hotel, car hire place, trip, was expecting us, and wished us a happy Honeymoon! We even got complimentary upgrades in a couple of places! There is no way we could have organised this trip ourselves. The expert knowledge, attention to detail, and the tips on where to go and what to see on the detailed trip plan were invaluable. Can't wait to plan our next trip - I'll never make the mistake of booking a holiday without speaking to Scott again. Thank you guys, for everything - you were amazing
Scott organised our family holiday to Chile, which was amazing. He understood our needs and suggested itineraries and venues that we would not of found ourselves. We had to make some changes due to issues in Chile at the time and Scott was on top of that and suggesting alternatives before we knew. Would definitely recommend.
Mark arranged for me to do a safari with Nyange Tours in Moshi, Tanzania and it was awesome! All the arrangements worked as planned and Mark managed to rearrange my pickup at short notice late on a Friday afternoon. This was extremely efficient and welcome! service. I can't help thinking this is a bonus of using a small company. The tour was wonderful. The tour company are well established and know what they are doing. The guide, Edwin, was just brilliant. He's a charming man and he knows all there is to know about the national parks and explains it clearly and simply in excellent English. We were lucky to get him. And we saw everything except a rhino, including lions in trees which is very rare, apparently. Kinda scarey, too, when you're in an open top vehicle and four large lions are balancing on tree branches right above you! Altogether, I recommend without any quibbles booking a trip with Nyange Tours via Mark Bratt Travel - you won't get a better deal or a better experience.
Thank you Mark for a holiday of a lifetime!! I had previously spoken to some big travel companies but they just did not get what we wanted, they just tried to sell us the latest deal unlike Mark who listened to what we wanted and gave us some brilliant holiday options that completely hit the brief & eventually we decided on Namibia. Honestly this country has it all from adventures, activities, safari, insane landscapes, amazing people and we stayed at some unbelievable lodges. Everything was so well organised, the app was brilliant and Mark was so quick to come back to us on any questions we had which was quite a few after 3 years of no travelling I genuinely can't recommend Mark enough, the holiday was above and beyond what we expected and he took out all the stress of travelling especially when covid restrictions are still confusing.
