Something that has been on my todo list for a very long time. Shame the cafe was shut...
First visit ever to Fleetwood and the Marine Hall last saturday to see Pink Floydian. What a superb venue, large enough to show off the bands amazing light show but still with a warm and friendly feel. All the staff I encountered were extremely knowledgeable and helpful and I'd have no hesitation in recommending others to see a show here. By the way, something not quite right with my uploaded images as they are higher resolution than appear in this review, no idea why!
Beautiful little venue with a really lovely vibe and atmosphere to the building. Excellent and well stocked bar plus a fantastic little snack kiosk serving crisps, amazing Wallings Ice Cream, soft drinks and even Cadburys Hot Chocolate. Staff couldn't have been any nicer and the show we watched Nativity the Musical was outstanding and would highly recommend getting along to watch this before it's short run ends. Had such a great night here.
Passed through these Gardens whilst looking for the public toilets but once we found them not only did we forget to bring our radar key for the disabled toilet but there was also a small charge and that is why I have rated this 4stars and not 5.nMost people pay with debit cards, money is almost obsolete so these should be brought upto date.nAnyway we used the leisure centre toilets before we walked back through the gardens back to the car, it is possible to get through with a wheelchair but you might have to go the long way around as some parts have steps and the ramp is further on.nIt was fairly quiet for a bank holiday weekend and with sun out which did surprise us but we enjoyed our visit nonetheless.
Went to see Big country play here for their 40 th anniversary tour.great night.
Went along with my wife to see the jerseys tribute act to Frankie Valli and the four seasons.nWas disappointed as the band only covered a selection of songs in between covers of other songs of the 60's in acapella.nThe singer who imitated Frankley Valli has a good range vocal and could hit the high notes. The other 3 were OK but not as good, but for us the sound didn't work.nAs we recognise the group to wearing their famous red jackets with black lapells, they didn't have these on until near the end of the second part of the show.nWe would have preferred to see an act that would have sang all of the hits which was the reason we wanted to go and see them.nI am giving the show a 3 star for their enthusiasm, but the sound and the visual aspect didn't work for us.
