Something that has been on my todo list for a very long time. Shame the cafe was shut when we got to Knott End. The trip across the river is very quick and the ferry comes back almost immediately.
Such a great trip, only a short journey. We went there and back with a wheelchair user, the guys were lovely and let us stay on the boat with her, even assisted to get on and off the boat. Really spacious and plenty of room for a big wheelchair. Thanks a bunch guys, you've made our day!
We went here for the market. Which I have to say does not disapoint. So much to see. Very reasonable.nnThe us a museum down the road with lots of history. Not much else to do though. But enjoyed the visit.
Very reliable service between Fleetwood and Knott End. Check the timetable though as at the lowest tide times the service can be more limited. It is a quick crossing for the cost of £2.nI recommend this as an alternative to driving the whole way around.nThe staff were friendly and ensured the service was as efficient as possible.
We're at an RNLI Lifeboat day. You get to see them in action with a demonstration. There are lots of stalls, and a live band.nIts a great atmosphere to hopefully raise money for the RNLI.nFantastic day.
