As someone with a lot of ear piercings but disappointed with the quality that standard cartilage jewellery offers long term, I was so pleased to discover this brand several years ago. What Maria Tash has done is truly amazing! Yes the price point is high but cost per wear is worth considering. I have lost a piece twice before too, you just have to be careful with them / get a piercer to fasten. The staff are always great at consulting on options. I have really enjoyed transforming the metal in my ears here, and adding on a few holes too :
Lovely place with lovely staff! I went in a little nervous as it was my first piercing and was met by a lovely employee who helped me choose my earrings and then met Emma, my piercer. She was so so kind and made me feel so at ease. Would recommend her to anybody! She was so good at communicating if I didn’t like anything or wanted to change it throughout the whole process. She checked if I was ok. Lovely place and lovely employee.
The only place I would trust for a piercing. I had a wonderful experience, the stylist and piercer took the time to style my ear, as I wasn’t sure what I wanted but their recommendations were perfect. The piercing session itself was super safe and efficient and professionally conducted. Thank you!!
Highly recommended, very professional place. I had my nose pierced here today. My piercer, Lauren, was lovely, friendly, put me at ease and explain everything she was doing step by step. I felt well looked after. Will definitely be back for some more.
Twice I made consultation appointments. Twice I was dismissed shortly after I got to the counter without an actual consultation. Both were consultations for nose ring and jewellery choices. I was never ever given the time for an actual consultation. The people I spoke basically looked at my nose right at the counter and sent me on my way. There wont be a 3rd.
My 2nd visit to Maria Tash at Liberty for a piercing. I went back as i was so pleased with the 1st visit and their knowledge and care. Kevin was excellent today with professionalism, guidance and good humour, which I needed and he recognised. A nice chance to select something new in the store, you get good guidance on what works for your piercings . Thank you all.
I used to love MT and had there 4 piercing done and bought several pieces. However after one year of wearing my hoop I lost it ! It was conch and hoop costs me about £1000. I have never opened it by myself, it was how they put it in the shop; also I am always very careful with piercings. It could be one off, I sleep often on this side, so I came to terms with it. However recently my other hoop with star felt off! Luckily I found it. Yesterday I was walking and I touched it and it was open. Lucky me. Now I am keep checking it. So I am not going to buy any hoops there, studs are ok but for hoops just go to proper jewellery store and they can make it for you with PROPER CLOSING. Unfortunately learnt after losing £1000 and now in daily fear of another one.
What an experience! Cassia and Cieran are a fantastic duo who made it so much more than just peircing. Cassia took the time to understand my style and was able to translate it into an idea that's both unique and edgy. She appreciated I had a budget and knew which pieces to choose to work with that without compromising the look or leaving me wanting. Cieran then took the lead in making it come to life. What a lovely guy! It hurt so much less than I thought too! I loved everything about my visit and enjoyed having two people who clearly love what they do style me. It's worth every effort to go there and the quality speaks for itself through the team. I was made to feel special and can't wait for phase two in a couple of months time! Super, super happy!
It’s really difficult to rate this. No doubt the jewellery is gorgeous. In February 2023 I went to the Liberty store and purchased three piercings which I also had installed there. Unfortunately two of the three piercings have fallen out within 2 months. I’ve had piercings for 30 years and at this price point I expect this not to happen. I expect quality that lasts years! 800 Pounds lost which is incredibly frustrating.
Bought an infinity hoop for my conch solid gold with diamonds, £840 total, got it installed by a piercer. Within a month it fell out and is gone now, while just doing every day activities. I feel that for the price, the click system should be good enough for it to not fall out so fast..
