I tried to return a faulty cable, instead of being helpful, and attaching a refund I had all receipts etc, she said she had to send it off to head office to test. I was surprised as the whole store was full of ways to test the cable. Eventually, after the assistant manager walked away suggesting I was wasting her time, the store staff helped with a resolution. I have been using Maplins regularly for years, never had such service.
They are really nice , fast working and know what they are talking about . Just helped me out to find the perfect house phone and they even explained me why the prices are different between each phones.
I buy 4 pole jack to triple phone 1.5m but doesn’t work for me and I go back to the shop for exchange white something else but the manager doesn’t want to change or refund because the box it’s little bit damage.....
Good range of products for a small shop, however I find they are way over priced on many cheaper elsewhere products. I went shopping for a mouse, but got cheesed off with their markups...
Store is very clean and well laid out. Staff are excellent, know their stuff and are extremely friendly.
Great help from staff never had a problem exchanging items or replacing them. But items are quite pricey
A new store has a good selection Update May-18, store about to close down for good as the company has gone into administration
