I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Currys Chadwell Heath and can’t recommend it highly enough. Every staff member I dealt with went above and beyond, especially Kelsey, Nuhan and Usman.nnNuhan helped me find a laptop that perfectly suited my needs. He took the time to explain my options clearly, gave genuinely great advice, and secured me an excellent deal. He was also incredibly helpful when explaining add-on packages like Windows, McAfee, and OneDrive, making sure I understood everything without any pressure.nnUsman was outstanding when it came to setting up the laptop. He was extremely patient, answered all of my questions thoroughly, and troubleshot issues quickly and efficiently. What really stood out was how confident and knowledgeable he was — he was even teaching other staff members during the setup, which really shows his expertise.nnKelsey helped me get an amazing deal on a phone, and her knowledge and capability really stood out. She was incredibly knowledgeable, confident, and efficient, quickly troubleshooting any issues and making the phone setup process smooth and stress-free. I decided to purchase the phone in store purely because of the excellent assistance provided by all three staff members.nnThanks to the exceptional customer service from Kelsey, Nuhan and Usman. I’ll definitely continue coming back to this store in the future. It’s rare to find a team that is this knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely helpful — a huge credit to the Currys brand.
The worst customer service ever. Even a star don’t deservenGoodmayes Retail Park store.nI visited the store to purchase a phone case. I waited approximately 20 minutes for the staff member responsible for that section to assist me. When I politely asked another member of staff if someone else could help, I was told I had to wait because the person in charge was busy.nI explained that waiting 20 minutes for a simple item was unreasonable. In response, the staff member pointed towards the door and said that “the door is there,” implying that I should leave if I was not happy. This behaviour was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional.
We had a very unpleasant experience with the staff and manager at this Currys store located at Unit 5 Goodmayes Retail ParkChadwell Heath RM6 4HX. Instead of trying to resolve the situation, they were rude and completely unprofessional.nI ordered a Nintendo online for my son, with in-store collection within one hour. As I also have a newborn, I sent my husband to collect the order on my behalf, because the store is an hour distance from us. My husband had my driving licence, the receipt, and all the required details. The staff refused to release the order, even though my husband showed them a screenshot from Currys Customer Support clearly confirming that the order can be collected by someone else, not necessarily the account holder, as long as the receipt and IDs are provided.nDespite this clear confirmation, both the staff and the manager refused to help and showed no willingness to find a solution. Their attitude was disrespectful and dismissive, making the whole experience extremely frustrating.nOverall, a very poor experience with unprofessional behaviour. I will not be returning to this store and I do not recommend it to anyone.
placed an order specifically because Currys advertised “FREE in-store collection in as little as 1 hour.” The Goodmayes branch Unit 5, Goodmayes Retail Park, Chadwell Heath RM6 4HX was shown as having the Dyson V10 available to collect immediately, so I paid straight away.nnAs soon as the order went through, I received an email saying the item would only be ready in the next 1–2 working days. This completely defeats the purpose of “1-hour collection” and feels extremely misleading.nnI contacted customer service, and the experience made everything worse.nThe agent insisted I needed to “pay for a premium service,” despite the website clearly showing the item available for immediate collection. I even had to guide him through the website for him to understand.nnI asked if they could transfer my order to another Currys store that actually had stock available right now. He refused, saying he was not authorised to do anything except cancel the order.nnOut of frustration, I told him to cancel it — only to be informed the refund would take 3–5 working days to appear. So now I’ve paid for an item I can’t collect, received no real help, and have to wait days just to get my own money back.nnOverall, a very disappointing and frustrating experience.nCurrys seriously needs to fix their misleading collection times and improve staff training.nnI’ve now asked them to cancel the order, and I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.
My experience at Currys was outstanding, all thanks to Hanna. From the moment I was assisted, she was welcoming, knowledgeable, and attentive to my needs. Hanna took the time to explain everything clearly, offered excellent advice, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Her professionalism and genuine care made me feel like a truly valued customer. Exceptional service like this is rare, and Hanna is a credit to Currys. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this store to anyone.
