Very friendly staff. Lovely old skool local shop. If you need it quick, go there. Obvs not the cheapest, but if that's what you want, get yourself to Aldi, Lidl or B&M and stop moaning about it. They run a great Evri parcel service too
I purchased some biscuits from this store on Easter Sunday and when I got home I realised that they were over a month out of date. As they had milk in them, they couldn't be eaten and the one bite I unwittingly took had a very strange taste. Obviously you can't exactly return them to this kind of shop and they were only £1.25. It's just the principle. This is not the first time that something like this has happened and we are all having to be very careful with money at the moment, so these things add up. Terrible stock management and really a total indifference to customer experience. There's far better newsagents in Glossop that are worth your custom and will make sure that you aren't throwing your money down the drain, which I would have been better off doing on this occasion.
The ever reliable shop open when others are closed
Rip off shop... £2 more for cigarettes and tobacco in this dump,than anywhere else in the Glossop area
