This is a beautiful, peaceful site with a sea view. Kate is lovely and the shower and toilet block is clean. There is a kitchen and laundry and the local shop and pub are in the village a short walk or drive away and Slapton Beach is also a short walk away. The other naturists were friendly and helpful. Our first naturist holiday here and it won’t be the last.
Lovely spot. Very quiet and friendly and perfect for naturists. Short walk to naturist beaches and handy for the coastal path. Fairly basic facilities and quite sloping ground.
We've never turned up at a site and decided we weren't staying before but we did just that at Manor. The facilities were run down and poor and the fields just looked like a caravan graveyard. Even if desperate for a naturist site this still wouldn't be a reason to stay. The idea of co existing with a textile site seemed a good idea but not to be. Its a shame because the site has so much potential.
What a fantastic laid back place, one part textile and the other part naturist as we are. Wish we had found this lovely site before.
Amazing view of the south coast sea - this place is for the budget conscious as only basic facilities, but its cheap and very cheerful in a stunning location and a really amazing owner. She is so ridiculously helpful every time we've been really makes us feel welcome. We have decided to try going on the naturist bit this time too as it seemed like a nice friendly quiet place in the middle of nowhere. If you're thinking about trying naturist camping I'd say go for it! It is definitely a little scary and a bit weird at first seeing people wonder around completely naked, but we soon got used to it. By the second day i honestly stopped noticing that I was even naked, or that anyone else was. I honestly forgot about it, apart from when it's hot and sunny, it just feels lovely to not have to wear clothes. I'm naturally a little shy if anything so was surprised just how quick i did relax. There is also a naturist beach close by which is very pebbley, but ok. My wife and I both enjoyed the chance to experience nature as a naturist in such a cool place. I'd advise anyone to try it and you might be surprised how great an experience it can be. I'm tempted to put a photo of us both on here naked by our tent just to prove we actually did it!! Ha. But I dont think that would go down to well with google. Will definitely come again, and will definitely go naked naturist camping again :
Highly recommended. We booked last minute for naturist side and spoke to the lovely Kate with the Volvo. We’d never tried naturist so we were nervous on arrival. We shouldn’t have worried as we were soon joining in and loving the freedom. Literally the best weekend ever and now we both appreciate our bodies again. Definitely worth checking out for first timers or experienced. Booked again this weekend so we can be our natural selves again for a few more days.
This site is brilliant, I stayed on the Naturist section, although I was limited for time so I spent most of my time out walking and exploring the local area instead of sunbathing, the local Naturist beach is a fairly easy walk away for the able bodied, I would recommend trying to pick up the coast path ASAP once you have past the Kings Arms pub, this avoids any potential safety issues whilst walking down what can be a fairly busy coast road. Quite reasonably priced car parking is also available by the beach, but of course clock watching can take the fun out of a visit to the beach. The people are so friendly, many thanks to Kate Gill and her friend, for telling me places to go to and good local advice, which was so helpful and the facilities are so well kept and clean, I have missed Kate and her Cat shadows since returning home. But I have happy memories and I will certainly return when I get chance.
We love this place. Have been visiting for more than 15 years. Naturists and textiles happily enjoy their preferred areas. A place to relax, and forget your cares. Cooking, washing, showers, etc. facilities closed during Covid. Electric hookups. Over looks the sea, short distance to a coarse sandy beach like lentils really. Very scenic area near beautiful Dartmouth. Regular busses nearby. Roger and Mary
Small basic naturist camping site, not far from the famous nudist beach at Slapton
Hello all , This campsite Manor Farm is just a basic field that got drinking water taps , At the moment because of Covid 19 . No toilets and Showers are open because of the Covid 19 So you have to have you own toilet and shower which we got a motorhome ,they do hook up and 8 to 9 metres apart, We will come again
