I recently dined at Manjaros in Ilford and would rate my experience 3 stars. While the food was decent, a few aspects left me questioning the overall quality of service.nnOne surprising incident was when I ordered bottled water. Instead of receiving a sealed bottle, I was given a bottle without a cap and a straw inserted. This raised concerns about whether the water was genuinely bottled or refilled with tap water. For customer assurance, it’s crucial to provide sealed bottled water.nnOn a positive note, the staff’s attentiveness stood out. Although Abdi wasn’t serving our table, he was exceptionally observant and proactive. He noticed when I dropped my knife and promptly offered to replace it. Additionally, the gentleman at the till was very polite, respectful, and cheerful, making the bill settlement a pleasant experience.nnOverall, while the food was acceptable, the service from Abdi and the cashier significantly enhanced our visit.
I ordered from via Uber Eats, and unfortunately, my experience was a complete disappointment. The food arrived in a complete mess, with everything spilled all over the bag. This wasn’t the delivery driver’s fault—it's clear the restaurant didn't pack the food properly. I tried calling the restaurant multiple times 8 calls, to be exact to address the issue, but no one answered.nnThe pasta was inedible—tasted so bad that I couldn’t even finish more than two bites. It felt like a waste of money, especially when you're starving and expect a proper meal. I just don’t understand why restaurants can’t use better containers for food, especially for items with gravy or sauces. Overall, food quality seems to have really declined, and I won't be ordering from here again.
Went here during Ramadan and booked day before so no issues on the day, as we went as group. If you plan to walk in, during Ramadan there is slim chance of seating. The menu is a set menu with several options, at very good value. At first it seems like maybe food won't be enough based on the menu, but the portions are large and definetly worth it. Very happy with the food, service and value. Parking isnt ideal as its on street parking, and it is in a busy area. We were lucky to park close by but you just need patience. Look forward to going again after Ramadan.nnEdit* Went today, and had the full menu today. Great value and amazing food. Another favourite!
Good food with a large variety of dishes. Similar to a Nandos type experience but order at the table.nNeed to offer filtered tap water we're in 2024!nRestaurant closes 2 hours earlier than takeaway so be careful if you're coming for a sit down meal
Amazing food! The mushroom lamb chops and the hot wings were absolutely top tier. Service was good and the food was served in a surprisingly short amount of time. 10/10
