Visited for the first time and we were not disappointed. Friendly, welcoming and quick service. And the food was excellent, the portions substantial and very reasonably priced. The salt and chilli chips were amazing.Food: 5/5
August 2024 - the portion sizes have decreased in size. The mix if differing ingredients has been reduced, and the chicken in the sweet and sour balls is much reduced, with more batter than chicken. First review - This place was very good, but the last three time I've ordered from here the food has been bad, very bad. With burnt noodles, under cooked fried rice and meat protions sizes much reduced. Real shame its gone down hill.

Update 2024: I have seen various posts across platforms recently that suggest people have not realised that Margaret no longer operates this business. She doesn't, and hasn't since early 2024, so if you are no longer as happy as you were, this is not down to Margaret. Original Review: Great food, good prices and Margaret is a gem... A truly lovely lady.
Have had takeaways from here for years , had gone down after last few visits , but tonight's dinner was inedible,, . And Margaret was away , so sorry Margaret, xFood: 1/5

Great food and nice service, but the goldfish in the tiny tiny tank is the saddest and cruelest thing. Please get a bigger fish tank or let them go to somewhere that has the space for them before I buy from you again : Take notice people.Food: 4/5
A beautiful meal to complete our visit to the area, and it was only around the corner. Having read the Google reviews about this establishment, we were looking forward to meeting Margaret and we were not disappointed! She even took our order over the phone in a friendly way, and on collection of our order she was kind and charming. The food was as good as we’ve ever had - it always seems unfair to compare with your favourite place at home, but this did well. I would happily travel out of my way to eat from here again. Very, very happy. Thanks!
