Had a lovely birthday dinner at Mamma Mia! The Primitivo was wonderful and the food tasted just as good as it looks. We've tried to come here for years always end up being in Stirling on a Monday , but definitely won't wait long for a next visit!
Ordered starter of mussels to share and risotto main. Classic Italian food and the mussels were fantastic. Great service too and the decor of the restaurant made us feel like we were in Italy as it was a nice day. Loved the meal
Could not fault the food. It was fantastic, nicely decorated too. But the service was lacking, felt very transactional like fast food. There was a younger girl with red hair who was great, but the rest of the team were cold and awkward, if it had been extremely busy I would have given them the benefit of the doubt but it wasn't. Would go back again for the food, and hopefully the service is better.
Definitely must be if you love Italian food. All meals made from high quality ingredients. Number of awards are also not a coincidence. You must check it’s out!
This restaurant has 2 floor. The tables were kept in distance from the other tables. We ordered pizzas and starters. Small quantity of starters, cannot be shared. Pizza were reasonable size. The restaurant has toilets. Road side parking.
Just steps from our hotel in Stirling Mamma Mia was a lovely last night in Scotland!
One of the best, if not the best restaurants in Stirling! You wonder if you left Scotland for Southern Italy at some point! Excellent mussels, a variety of Italian starters, delicious gnocchi, very much recommend the house pasta specialty, great tiramisu, and a good selection of wine and drinks. Can't comment on the pizza, other than it looks amazing! Reasonable/fair prices for the high quality food. Saverio is an outstanding host, kind, very attentive and always around to make sure everything is up to his high standards. But really the whole team is super friendly, attentive, and makes you feel very welcome. Not my first, certainly not my last visit!
walked in, no pre booking and they were quick to accommodate use. The food was absolutely beautiful, probably the nicest muscles iv ever eaten, love to no were their souced, i really enjoyed it.
Worth a visit I found this place by accident and was very impressed with the quality of the food, service and the restaurant itself, so I would definitely recommend a visit if you like Italian food. Staff were very accommodating even though I hadn't booked and so friendlyFood: 5/5
We all had a very tasty dinner with mussels for starters and seafood pasta, the house pasta and pizzas for mains. Good Italian food and wine but the service could be improved.
