Very likely the best pizza in Bedford. Just right amount of crust and great combination of ingredients. Also the service was top notch. Fully booked the moment it opens so it is good to reserve your table in advance if you want to seat inside. Will for sure visit again.
Great interia, not a huge amount of staff attention. Very rushed.. Could of done with a few extra bits but was hard to catch someone. Overall was delicious. My son said it was his fave pizza ever.. Will be back thanks.
Fantastic pizza, great atmosphere, friendly staff and interesting decoration. The La Diavola was really good, I highly recommend it! Next time I will ask for it without the pepperoni, just the N’duja is enough.
Visited with a group bookkng for weekday lunch. Really nice atmosphere. The service was super quick. Ordered La Divola pizza spicy pizza but wasn't too hot or spicy. Service was good and food for our large 10 people table came out super quickly. All made fresh behind the counter, with a pizza oven in the corner of the restaurant. Will definitely go back again to try some more dishes and dessert.
We were supposed to go to another of the many Italian pizzeria in Bedford apparently there is a huge Italian community here, due to a brick factory over 500 years ago that was employing a lot of Italian immigrants in the area. Anyway, the pizza was ALMOST perfect for an Italian fussy pizza eater like me the dough was delicious and burnt in the right places if you have one of these all-even-doughs, with no bubbles and no little charred burnt parts here and there.. the pizza is not properly hand made with a dough recipe that ghost the Italian original one there are many, but the general idea is that the pizza should follow certain standards. Got a pizza with pepperoni many recipes were "British style" hence the ALMOST, although thank God there were no pineapple in the pizza menu!!! and nduja a spicy spreadable salami from Sicily, the pizza was very good and I will come back here if I was in the area. The pizza place itself is cosy and small, with an original 1070 Italian Vespa hanged on the ceiling!! A must for all Pizza lovers, and all Italians in the Bedford area!! Oh I almost forgot! They have original San Pellegrino fizzy drinks, you have to try the blood orange juice, if you never did in the photos Try it and subscribe to my review for more Italian, good food suggestions!!
ABSOLUTE EXCELLENCE. A "MUST VISIT" when in Bedford!!! We have been a few times and it is excellent. Great service over the phone when booking and in the restaurant, and then the PIZZA! Totally delicious, full flavoured and fresh. To the owners, keep doing what you are doing, don't sell out, and we shall keep coming back with our friends and family, again and again.
Just shared 1 of your lovely Lasagnas with my Italian son in law and family. It was second helpings all round. I was asked if I could bring the family in to enjoy some more of your menu next time they are here to stay. Thank you so much for helping to make a successful Christmas Eve Supper.
Most hospital service I have encountered. The staff couldn't have done any more to make our visit better. The food also was of a very high standard. Happy customer who will most definitely return again and again. Kid-friendliness: Really accommodating of our 3 year old granddaughter.
We had the most amazing time at Mamma Comcetta. The food, staff and atmosphere was amazing. One of the best pizzas I've ever had Tipped off by the staff dancing at the end of the night We'll definitely be back.
Walked in and got a table for 4 today. Staff were friendly and attentive. Food was fantastic will definately go again. Was great watching the homemade pizzas being cooked in the stone oven. Great atmosphere was realy welcoming and nice off staff to say goodbye and have a great day.
