One of my favourite places to go, such variety in food and the staff are always so friendly and helpful. Can literally order as much and whatever you want! Only slight issue is the chairs are slightly too tall to sit at the tables comfortably if you are a taller person, but I'm enjoying the food so much I don't notice! Go here once a month now as it's just so good. Squid, prawns, crab are all to die for. And the custard buns are so fluffy!!
First time doing hotpot, Jay's Grill Bar provided a good experience with many side dishes and flavours to add to the hotpot. Service was great and staff were always around when needed. On the other side the table was a bit low and it was awkward sitting down considering I'm over 6 foot. There wasn't much space at the table for plates. Over all I did enjoy the food and it was fun making it yourself, while staff were kind and helpful.
First time at Jay's grill. It does hotpot and grill/bbq at the timetable. Plenty of choice and the staff are very attentive. Only complaint I have is the tables are too low. I couldn't get my legs under the table which was a bit uncomfortable. Overall a pleasant experience. Bring cash as they don't do card payments. Parking: Not the easiest place to park. Find a back street. It's £6.40 for 3 hours on the the ticket machines, providing you can find one that works.
Incredible value for money. Great customer service and such a good selection. Also the seafood is excellent quality. A must visit in Glasgow!!
First time trying Korean Grill, it was good but next time will have better idea what to order. One item left out of our order but we did feel we had enough, yes you forgot the seaweed: see photo, and the scissors used cut the meat was not clean from last time used. Also taken a bit back when approached by the young waiter stating would we tip at the table as the management keep the tips! I hope this is not true please.
AMAZING! Short weekend trip to Glasgow with friends and happen to come across this gem . Fit for all dietary requirements Service: Warm and welcoming. Location: Easy to find and clean all over. Food: Well seasoned, great portions 10/10 great buffet selection.
We’ve been here a few times. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food were fresh and being served quickly. Me and my husband were so full at the end of the night. It’s better to book it because it can get quite busy at times.
Great place for a group dinner on a reasonable price. However, the place only accepts cash so make sure to carry some with you when you go. Per person the meal would cost around £14-30 but the rate differs on what time of the day you go as well.
Best bbq in Glasgow! I love the experience bit, cooking the food to my exact preference is something I wish I could always do. The meat was fresh, the vegetables were high quality and fresh. They didn't have crab, but the rest was plentiful so I can't fault them. My favourite thing about Jay's is the service, they are so polite, accommodating, quick and efficient. We had a chat with a few of the staff outside, a lovely, smiley gentleman even offered us a Chinese cigarette, he made us smile! I cannot recommend Jay's enough, for a special occassion, for the unique experience or even just to indulge into loads, and loads of good food!
This place does more than great food, it offers a brilliant experience! Ingredients are fresh and the staff will bring you constant refills so no excuse for not being well fed when you leave. Hotpot broths are really tasty and the selection of added extras is perfect for tailoring them to your taste. BBQ meats all come with plenty of marinade and although you cook everything yourself, a helpful staff member will pop over to make sure you are grilling to perfection. We live 200 miles away from this restaurant but have returned every single time we head to Scotland. Absolutely worth the trip.
