I visited Mama Roux's for the first time last night with a friend to see Cattle Decapitation; it's a great venue- near Digbeth Car park. I was impressed with the sound quality of the acts that we saw, the acoustics of the main room are fantastic; I'll definitely come here again.
Friendly staff but limited soft drink availability and limited seating at the events we’ve been to. Access to Digbeth Dining club. Toilets need cleaning!
bands are good.Lighting excellent.Music awards night.
Very quaint and intimate and different to the normal clubbing places around. Only downside is when it is rammed then you're like sardines in a tin can and if dancing is your thing either forget about it or attempt to dance on the spot. That said the sound system is amazing and the intimacy is on point so it's swings and roundabouts
Picked my daughter up from here tonight. She said it was the best gig of her life. Quick to act Security made her feel safe too.
