Nice friendly pub with large beer garden, plus outdoor TV and bar for summer events. Menu is well priced with a decent selection. I tried the kebabs which well cooked and presented. Really nice to see a two course senior menu as well. Greene King app worked well for ordering.
Very nice pub in Bridgwater. The food is really good and there is a lotus cheescake which is outstanding. They have a huge terrace with Tv and live sports such as F1, football or tennis. The personell are really friendly and eficient and they put wimbledon as we asked them to. You can either enjoy a good lunch or dinner or few drinks and the sun and good sunny days. Very recommended.
We had our club Christmas meal here last night, there were 23 of us. The food was amazing value and everyone enjoyed their meals. Good, honest pub grub with an Xmas twist was a welcome change from the typical menu's offered elsewhere, although for the traditionalists turkey and all the trimmings was an option too. The staff were friendly and accommodating and did amazingly with only a small kitchen. Can highly recommend!
When I first walked in I was made to feel very welcome. The bar staff and the waitresses were very friendly, patient and helpful. The pub is very clean. I didn't have to wait long for the food to be brought out. The food was lovely and cooked extremely well just how I like it and it was still nice and hot. I highly recommend visiting here as you wouldn't regret it. It is the best pub I've been too, I will definitely be going again very soon.
Wonderful pub, friendly staff, great prices just had a fantastic meal and for all of you that have a blue light card it's 20% off food.. lovely big beer garden for those sunny days. Small car park but a car park 5 mins walk away. Highly recommended for dinner and drinks with friends and family as child friendly
Stopped for Sunday lunch after a walk, the staff and pub itself are lovely but the roast that was served was inedible, the beef was indelible, it tasted like it had been sat around for days before then reheated, i asked for chicken instead, the breast that came out was so burned and dry i could hardly eat it, My wife’s lamb was the same, chewy and tough. The yorkshires were terrible, the veg and spuds were ok but had some strange herb or spice on them, bisto gravy to boot. I hate leaving bad reviews, especially on pubs that are struggling these days But given the size and location of the pub I think they are missing a truck by not getting in someone who can do a good carvery or at least roast
The best place to eat. the best staff very welcoming and attention to customers needs are outstanding. My new go to place to eat and socialise with friends and family
Great food, lovely atmosphere, helpful staff, reasonable prices.
