It is a wine shop. Nice people, well equipped.
Excellent range. Goodish prices and good enough deals to get you spending more than you intend to. Not convinced that all the shop staff are the best source of advice.
I paid my first visit to Majestic Wine today, it won't be my last. As you'd expect, there's a huge selection of wines, covering a range of prices. The customer service was excellent. I was greeted on arrival, asked about my tastes in wine, and was then introduced to a number of choices that I might be interested in trying. With assistance, I bought a few bottles and received a discounted price for each one, because I bought more than six. A very pleasant shopping experience. I've yet to taste the wine but I'm anticipating a diversity of good tastes.

Great customer service, Chelmsford and very good selection of wines at reasonable prices, more expensive one's available, worth a visit.
Majestic is a great wine shop. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and will carry your wine to the car for you. There's a big range of world wines and a smaller range of spirits, craft beer and fine wines.
What can I say? It's Majestic Wine. The layout of the store is a bit hard to get your head round, but there is a very helpful man who knows where everything is. Tasting notes are provided with the wines. There is little information on the displays in the store, so I recommend a visit to the website before you go to the store to get an idea of what's good value at the moment.
A big thanks to Johnny for sorting out my order and being so helpful and full of Christmas cheer. Especially helping bring it all out to the car in the pouring rain. Great service.
