Love this place with all of my whiskey-soaked heart. It's a stunning bar, and boasts an insane collection of liquor as well as knowledgeable staff. The stripped-back caverns of the old police cells are pretty cool - you can hang out at the bar or in one of the cells if you have a larger party. The cocktails aren't actually as pretentious as one may assume when they walk in; I find that most of them are slightly modern twists on a throwback of some classic, way back when. It's all very welcome, of course. My only gripe, and this is more of a personal preference, is that I want my whiskey sour in a short tumbler, NOT a prissy little martini-esque glass. Yes, some of the cocktails are a little delicate, but they are mixed superbly. I would also like a little more variety, simply because I want to spend the rest of my days here. The menu is slightly limiting, and it can be a little daunting asking for something outside of that. I want to recommend this place, but I actually just want to keep it for myself!

Visit to dinner time story le petit chef, dinner was a good experience. Food was mostly great, good drinks, good service, definitely would recommend if the budget can stretch.

Interesting building, staff make good cocktails. Some of the cocktail menu is a bit hit and miss, but they are all explained clearly. They will make you any classic cocktail you ask for and they are very well made.
