I love this place, I use the Launderette round the corner and have breakfast every Sunday, always the smoked salmon and cream cheese. Love it. But please can you stop changing it!!! Every week it's different. Best version is two halves of toasted bagel, served open toasted and topper with Cream Cheese, SS and Black Pepper with a wedge of lemon and dressed leaves. Stop changing it!!!!

Amazing coffee! I am so impressed with the quality of the coffee that I had been served. The store is a little cycle shop with a little café and the staff are very welcoming and relaxed. Great place to meet up with someone for a quick catch up. I came right before they closed unfortunately and didn't want them to get their cakes back out but I could see that they looked wonderful. Definitely a small place to visit for a pit stop after a long cycle ride!

Good combination of high-end road bike shop and cafe with a strong local community of cyclists. Nice selection of kit and bikes and the cafe serves up a very decent cup of coffee and freshly made, simple food - soup, poached eggs and smoked salmon on toast kind of thing. Service can be a little slow occasionally but they're friendly and enthusiastic so you never mind too much.

I recently started road cycling and the guys at MdV have been nothing but helpful and encouraging. The shop rides are a great way to learn the local routes and make a few new friends. One review below suggests they're too cliquey, but I am always welcomed - of course the guys all know each other, that's cos they ride together every week! The shop itself is kitted out beautifully with high end bike kit, plus useful essentials, and the cafe is a good place to chill, far enough out of town that it's not as crazy as some other local cafes!
